    Be honest, let's say there was another football game, it had a solid franchise mode with random name generator, great game mechanics, solid online play, but didn't have any affiliation with the NFL. Would you play it over Madden?

    I don't want to be "that guy" that always bitches and moans but here it goes anyways. I've owned every single madden since 2002. I've been a loyal paying customer for quite sometime. This reveal trailer has me so disappointed. I understand more info will be leaked out this week. However, this is our first look. This is Maddens opportunity to showcase all the "big changes made," and what do we get? We get a new and improved running game, more pass rushing options, and the opportunity to pick our own touchdown celebrations?

    You have to be kidding me EA. Why is it so hard for a company to actually listen to what their customer wants? I'm sick of the same super bowl celebrations, the impossible trade logic, the terrible free agency signings, and shitty soundtracks.

    This company literally has a monopoly over NFL gaming and we get the same broken record in Franchise mode every single year.

    Thanks for the big letdown again EA.

    As (a Franchise Player) Someone Who Apparently Doesn't Matter to EA Anymore, Here's What I've Wanted for Years...

    My buddy and I have been playing Madden way back since 2001, and we used to love franchise mode. I mean, even now, we still get a decent amount out of it, but it just feels so shallow and left alone. Anyway, I don't want this to be some big soapbox. Everyone here knows what I mean anyway.

    So, EA, as someone who doesn't matter, and in a post you either won't see or just completely ignore, here is a wishlist of some things I would love to see added. I'm not even asking for all of them, I'm just hopelessly hoping for some:

    - Add back positional coach hires, even if they're randomly generated coaches.

    - Add more relocation customization, such as allowing us to design jerseys, or take any nickname of the current selection, as opposed to everything being fixed as is.

    - Add the ability to trade future picks, make picks far into the future worth less just like NHL currently has.

    - Add in the ability to counter, and up any offer that a team might have put in at the last second for a FA you thought might have otherwise had signed. An example is a warning popping up, asking if you would like to raise your offer, or walk away before simming forward.

    - Add more immersion by having FA negotiations play out similar to FIFA, where you go back and forth, and discuss terms with the player's agent.

    - Add in more in Franchise interactions, for example; add in holdouts, make practice more worthwhile that even by simming, allows players you have newly signed or drafted to better acclimate themselves to your system. If their awareness is higher, they pick it up faster, and obviously slower if lower.

    - Add in facilities you can invest in and upgrade, such as medical, scouts, trainers, etc. It's just something small again to help you actually feel like an owner, and give you a bit of an edge once your franchise gets rolling in money.

    - Refine the draft to allow for some more late round gems to be there. I'm not asking to consistently draft gems, and solid players in rounds 5 through 7, I'm just asking for a slightly higher chance for a peppering of sneaky good prospects in the later round, like there even were 3-4 years ago in Franchise.

    There's a bunch of gameplay refinements that could be talked about as well, but I'm no expert in that. I mean, I'm not an expert in Franchise either, but all I'd know to suggest in regards to gameplay, would be vague generalities.
