Dude got kicked from our league for two things— constantly having phantom "blue screen" typically when losing. Also through 8 games had 94 catches with one receiver, 24 TD. Next highest receiver had 25 catches. He was called out, said he didn't do anything wrong. (This is league more casual than most sim leagues so we aren't like doing weekly stat checks and things of that nature) We removed him. He begged to get back in. We let him back in and then at the end of the season roster dropped his team (changed positions to navigate the OVR cut limit) then switched to two cpu teams and cut their players as well. Also changed a bunch of guys names to NA so they were more difficult to recognize lol

    I feel abused.

    Posted: 05 Feb 2020 11:10 PM PST

My first madden was madden 18. I didn't play a lot of MUT that year but I played the hell out of franchise mode. I loved it and it taught me a lot about football and helped get me into learning more and more about the players and draft process.

But last year and this year with madden 19 and 20. I feel like I've been used and abused by EA. Constantly being lied to. Being given an awful video game. Having our money stolen with packs. The dev teams seemingly not caring at all about bugs that constantly appear in their awful excuse for a video game.

EA truly does no care about us. We're letting them get away with abuse. We need to stand up for ourselves. Stop buying this game. Force EA to listen to us and give us a game worth playing.

TLDR- Game sucks, EA doesn't care and won't until we stop buying the game.

32 User Franchise Fantasy Draft League

    Posted: 05 Feb 2020 06:25 PM PST

    XBOX

Starting a league over on discord, anybody want in? We have ~ 10 spots left. There's a list of rules to keep gameplay competitive you can check out in the discord (most notably must punt in your own territory, no custom playbooks, no chew clock until 4th, home team stream game on mixer).

Im hoping having more control over your draft as well as having financial gain on the line will encourage people to stick with their teams longer.

Fantasy Draft Min. 12 Rounds split into 2 draft sessions, we can do more depending on how fast/slow its moving

$5 buy-in each season. Money breakdown:

    Super Bowl Champion: $100

    Runner up: $20

    Regular Season Money-Back Awards

    AFC DPOY $5

    NFC DPOY $5

    MVP $5

No. 1 Reg season Offense $5

    No. 1 Defense $5

    Coach of the year $5

I’ve been sitting here in squads, for 10 minutes, because I know that if I restart it’ll make me lose the Super Bowl, this has been a problem since the game came out, how have they not fixed this

    "FOTF" Improvements for 2021

    Posted: 05 Feb 2020 04:18 PM PST

While bored, I began playing Face of the Franchise again. I think there could be many new improvements to make this mode more fun and exciting. I am going to say what I think can be improved and then let's hear what you guys think can be improved on for Madden 2021.

To begin with, for whatever reason EA made the mode where we cannot add any accessories, pick our numbers, and we come into our game with preset items. I believe that this was implemented because schools that have certain brands (NIKE, ADIDAS, UA) always have their guys wearing only that gear because of their agreements but, I don't see that being an issue with players choosing to wear another brand, simply just show that schools certain brand.

I would like to see some new schools this year. I think a great idea would be to go through the players that won postseason awards and go to that college for permission to use their school in the game. Then again, with the new rule to pay the players I am sure there will be a lot of different schools implemented.

In my belief the BIGGEST improvement they can make to this mode is by making it A.) Online accessible so you and your friends can both play online versus one another and see who has the best draft stock and let you play a full career through college (optional). You could set what season you'd want to start from Junior-Senior year. Although, this isn't a CFB game so i don't think you should play no more than 6 games in the college career. My format would be 2 regular games a conference championship game then if you make it the CFP. B.) Give you cause-and-effect scenarios. If you ever played any of the older college football games you'd know what I am talking about. You can select choices that craft you into who your player is, and also their draft stock. For example, you have the option to go party with teammates or study the playbook. There could be consequences scheduled out at random for events like this. Say that if you choose partying so much then draft stock goes down and maybe suspended for a game. If you study the playbook too much then you could say that you're losing the locker room. There are so many events you could throw into this to keep it interesting.

The last thing I believe they should do for this mode is to make it where you can play any position than just the quarterback. I know plenty of people who enjoy making defensive players in Madden, and just like in real life there are many defensive guys selected early in the draft. So, I would really love to see that come about and let us pick any position.

I really do enjoy this mode a lot but, it just feels very one dimensional. I want to build my player up and terrorise the NFL but, it does get a little bit boring after awhile. Then when I want to play in a league with my friends we have to go do something completely different. I want to hear what you guys would improve with this mode and also what new colleges you want to see in this mode, if I had to chose it would be Kentucky.
