    Madden will never be a good game until they figure out how to make it harder without just having some player no attempt blocks or catches

    I recently got madden 20 after taking about 3 years off the franchise.

    I can literally score every possesion in whatever way I want on all pro so i bumped it to all madden. The problem is now the game just feels like i have no input at all and each play is predetermined before the snap.

    About 50% of plays results in 1 or 2 blockers just not even attempting a block. Sure they juice the dline okay so I'll block an rb. But no if the dlineman shreds a block the rb or te I kept in to block will just stand there with his hands up as the rusher goes directly past them.

    Same thing happens in the run game. Oh I have 2 extra guys on this side of the field to block. I should audible to run. Well then I get no double teams and a lineman running directly past an LB how makes the tackle.

    Dont even get me started on screen plays.

    Then on defense I frequently get plays were pass rushers just stand at the line for 2 seconds then rush. Its hilarious. I cant block 4 with 6 but they can block 6 with 5.

    Its ludicrous to me that EA is completely unable to make a game where everyone at least attempt an assignment every play.

    "Nice pass rush assholes!" When my D-Line let's a QB do his taxes in the pocket

    "He's Haynesworthing it up!!" When a nose tackle is putting in no effort

    "You can't block for just a second??"

    "Yeah just let me get fucked guys!" When I'm kick returner and nobody blocks, so 3 guys tackle me

    "Ahh he just Tebowed the ball" when my QB throws it in a really random spot

    I'm right here, what's up?! When I'm about to user a CB

    "Watch for the bullshit screen!"

    "The user is the only one who tries here?"

    "Fucking noodle leg!" When a kicker can't make a FG over 50 yards

    "Just kick the ball!!" When my punter hesitates and gets blocked

    "Ope! Someone touched you! Guess you gotta drop it!!" I hate tight ends

    "Um....thank me later" when I draft a player I'm uncertain about

    "Stop fucking the corner and get open!!" Crossing routes suck sometimes

    "Just get down, get down!!" When a defender gets an elongated tackle animation so an enforcer can come in and fuck my player

    "Keep dropping the ball and I'm moving your ass to runningback!!

    "Well that was hot" when I pull off a successful back juke

    "Talk about my guys!!" When the EA presentation shows my starters but the announcers are too busy talking about having sex with each other

    "Yeah fine, just leave me!! After everything I've done!" When you extend a player's contract then he gets injured in the next game

    The Best Madden 20 Franchise Experience

    I'd like to start this post, by giving a huge shout-out to the creator on Xbox with the name xTOOTSxMAGOOTSx. If you view the top downloads for draft classes, he is regularly up there. This man has dedicated a lot of time, to create a 1990 NFL Roster, and a 2000 NFL roster, with every draft class from '91 - '16. We decided to mess around with these a few times, and it makes franchise very enjoyable.

    For this particular franchise, we began with the 2000 roster, and used a fantasy draft to truly "rewrite the history of the NFL."

    This is intended to be played on All-Madden

    I recommend turning down the xp sliders to about 85-90% of normal, as a lot of the HOF-Caliber players, sky rocket in overall. As for gameplay sliders, we started with a "realistic" one, and tweaked as desired. Currently we have them set as follows.

    PLAYER SKILL: QB Accuracy - 40, Pass Blocking - 50, WR Catching - 50, Run Blocking - 45, Fumbles - 35, Pass Defense Reaction Time - 52, Interceptions - 31, Pass Coverage - 50, Tackling - 50.

    CPU SKILL: QB Accuracy - 31, Pass Blocking - 51, WR Catching- 50, Run Blocking - 47, Fumbles - 53, Pass Defense Reaction Time - 52, Interceptions - 31, Pass Coverage - 50, Tackling - 50.

    Special Teams: FG Power - 50, FG Accuracy - 48, Punt Power - 44, Punt Accuracy - 50, Kickoff Power - 50

    Game Options: Injuries - 13, Fatigue - 48, Min Player Speed Threshold - 38.

    Penalties: The only changes that have been made so far are Face Mask - 30, DPI - 55, Illegal Block In The Back - 45, Roughing The Passer - 45

    We use a checks and balances system for trading, and they must be approved by both commissioners before submission, due to the CPU valuation method being well, broken like most of franchise. While these changes don't fix the game completely, it does give a very refreshing look and feel to franchise, and I feel the creator has really captured the difference in the recent years and the early 00's.

    If you've got time to try this out, let me know how you like it. I'd love more feedback, as we've ran 50+ seasons of Franchise this year (some moments, some Sims, this one is full game 8 min Q) and this is far and away the most fun we've had.

    I'm not sure how to share pictures, but if anyone wants to see what the rosters look like at normal XP rates after 5 years, I'll learn how.
