    This is the ESRB rating summary for Madden 20. “Players can create and run plays” had me confused. Is there a create a play or are they tryna say something else?

    Special Teams Overhaul (Theorizing)

    Obviously fixing franchise and the core gameplay are what we all would prefer, but these are just some things I would like to see to make the special teams more "real".

    • Occasional bad snaps (would be very rare - 2 max per season)
      • Some longsnappers just aren't as consistent as others, guys like the Cowboys L.P. Ladoucer would never have a bad snap (he's perfect on his career), but others may have a 2% chance of a bad snap - this keeps them from happening often, but can impact a game if they do
    • Let pressure from the rush impact a punt/FG
      • As a former D2 punter myself, it can be tough to get off a good ball when the rush is right in your face - with a rush very close to the kicker/punter you may be more likely to shank a FG/punt or kick a low line drive...this leads into my next point
    • More "randomness" from kicks
      • Not every ball is going to an "A" ball. Introduce a "Kicking Consistency" rating. The lower the rating, the more uncontrollable pull/slice a kicker may have on his field goals, or the more likely a punter is going to shank and/or hit a shorter and/or lower punt. Guys like Justin Tucker are going to have a higher rating, while someone like Brett Maher will be lower
    • Directional Punt Playcalls
      • One thing you generally never want to do is punt the ball in the middle of the field. With these playcalls your coverage team will generally head towards one side of the field. If you kick it to that side you will see better coverage, however if you call Punt Left, but kick it right (this plays into the consistency rating), you may give up a big return

    So like I said, fixing the core gameplay and implementing proper football concepts is priority one, but it can't hurt to dream right? Let me know what you guys think...I know some people hate special teams, but if one thing is for certain, great teams are great on special teams.

    I'm looking at buying madden 20 while it's on sale and was wondering how similar it was to 2018. I have 19 as well and didn't really enjoy it too much do to all of the glitches I was dealing with and wanted to see how 20 was as far as glitches go.

    -Adults only

    -All-Madden, Competitive, 11 Min Qtrs W/ 15 sec. Play Clock

    -48 hr. advance @ 1 AM CST

    -Comprehensive Rosters based off of the 2006 season

    -Comprehensive Drafts from 2007 and on (will move to Bengal's Drafts after 2019)

    -Initial FA Draft based off of team OVR

    -Small changes to Sliders (Mainly decreased fumble chance)

    -No stream requirements, don't cheese and don't be an ass

    -Most current day players age adjusted (Anyone who actually mattered)

    -Exceptionally durable players (Tom Brady, Drew Brees) have much lower ages than IRL due to shitty madden regression

    -Practice squad stealing OFF bc CPU teams will place thier 70 OVR rookie QB's there

    -No restrictions on trades between players, Human-CPU trades will be OK'd by me

    -Additional Dev Grades given to players based on Yearly Awards or if a player receives multiple weekly awards

My friend has 19 and I have 20 and neither of us are interested in buying each others version or 21, so I just wanted to know if I could have a franchise mode with him.     Collective Madden 21 denial?

    Usually I'm always hyped for the new Madden game, simply because I love football and the release of Madden was somehow the kickoff to the new season for me. So again this year, I really was looking forward to the release in August. But then watching the trailers, new features(especially Franchise Mode) etc. EA just published, I wonder if this wouldn't be just the right time for some sort of collective denial of the new game. Do you think we could reach enough people to not buy the game and force EA to actually improve it really soon, somehow? I get that with the absent of sports this year, one might crave even more for any kind of "pro-sports feeling", even if it's just a video game but since we don't even know if or how we're going to have a season, wouldn't it be the perfect time to not buy Madden 21 for the "greater purpose".

    What do you think?

    Is anyone else bothered by how the calf of the player models just look short? Like sometimes I feel like the calf of the player models should look longer? But they look short and stumpy. Might just be me.. Downvote this post if you think this is just dumb.

    Since COVID and no sports being on - many sports books have madden sims 10 minute quarters simulation mode CPU vs CPU and you can get money on the outcome

    Golden Sim on twitch is one of these ...

    I have madden on Xbox but how do they pit CPU vs CPU is this done through modding ?

    Could this be rigged ?

    Is there a way to beat the system to put the odds in my favor ?

    so i have version 1.0 on pc of madden 08...i'm new to this football world...so when i pick a team i realize that there's like classic teams of that team in particular..for example 49ers 92,96,98 and so on but they don't have actual player names its just numbers..and the faces aren't even them...why is that

    Am I the only one in madden 20 that only gets drafted by the broncos? I've played face of the franchise 5 times and every time I do completely different things and all that happens is broncos.
