This happened in sim, not even realistic

    Just so you're aware

According to the player ratings listed on EA's website, Colin Kaepernick is not in M22. Now you can rejoice as you no longer have to make him a punter and change his name before the start of every franchise

(NFL Head Coach 09: Mr. Firesale) End of Season Recap:

    Posted: 05 Aug 2021 09:27 PM PDT

Alright, I'm not gonna lie: as much as I like this game, and doing these posts, that causes a lot of burnout very fast, especially when doing a challenge rebuild like I am. So, all just summarize what happened after the halfway point in the season.

We started the season 3-5. We ended 4-12. Pretty disappointing, but it turns out that when your team is shit, it's not gonna do much. Most of the games were simmed, and boy, was EA not gentle at all. Our only other victory came against the Raiders, who would go 1-15 and finish last in the league.

Remember Adkins? Yeah, he won OROY, had over 4000 passing yards, and made the pro bowl. He also had 25+ INTs, but who cares about that? Hilariously, hun winning the award might save me my job.

Brian Calhoun had some bright moments after being traded for. He had 400+ rushing yards and 7 rushing touchdowns, and had 237 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns. He even won an player of the week award. Ted Ginn and Vernon Davis both made pro bowl, and both received over 1000 yards. Despite that, Ginn wasn't selected as a receiver, but as a returner. Respectable.

On the year, we gave up 57 sacks to Damon Adkins, 22 to Omar Jacobs, and 4 to Chad Henne. If all of those sacks went to one player, it likely would've broken the record. Either way, Damon Adkins still rivals David Carr in the regard of rookie QB sack totals.

Speaking of sacks, let's get to defensive stats. Our rookie DT Lionel Dotson recorded 10 sacks, 14 TFL's, and a pro bowl nod. Good shit. No one on our team had more than three picks.

Our kicker, Jay Feely, was 20/27 on the year, with a long of 54. That being said, his inconsistency is annoying, as three of his misses came from 30-39 yards.

Both Sinorice Moss and Ted Ginn recorded over 29 yards per kickoff return, and each recorded two kickoff return touchdowns. Ted Ginn also recorded 8.7 yards per punt return.

The Miami Dolphins finish the year 4-12, and ranked 25th in the league. The Raiders and Redskins finished as the two worst teams in the league, with the Browns and Bears close behind them. The Bears still hold the worst offense in the league, only scoring 161 points in 16 games. Don't fret though Bears fans though, because we need to give our worst defense a round of applause!

The Miami Dolphins surrendered 604 points on the season! 150 points ahead of second place! You don't need to pull out your calculators, cause I have the answer for you. That's an average of 37.75 points allowed per game! If you thought that was bad, wait till I tell you this. Their turnover differential? -24! The next worst was only -11! The fact that this team even got one win is a staggering success. Now we move on to fourth down stats, where, the Dolphins had 41 attempts and 27 conversions, tripling their runner up in both categories.

But enough about how bad the Dolphins were: how about the fact that Ernie Sims, the Detroit Lions LB, is still in the top five for NFL MVP? Despite the fact his team went 4-12? He recorded 9 INT's, 126 tackles, 8 forced fumbles, and recorded 5. Probably one of the best defensive years ever recorded. Unfortunately, Tom Brady became NFL MVP, having another spectacular year, despite throwing 22 INTs.

Thankfully, the Owner did decide to keep us. So I guess I'll see you all later for the off-season post!

    Madden 21 Offline Dynasty Stats

    Posted: 05 Aug 2021 03:51 PM PDT

I've been having an issue in my newest offline dynasty where I will play a game and when I sim to the next week all of the previous games stats have disappeared. This has happened most recently when playing the Saints. I was able to pull a victory and had decent stats for my rookie QB and RB and in the next week the stats are gone. I can't see the game on the schedule any longer, but I still have the record of winning the game on my record.

When I go and look at my game stats the only thing that seems to have stuck are defensive stats. Just another broken Madden thing?

Racist Trash Talker Puts Money Up.. But Takes It Too Far

What was your most bullsh*t loss ever?

    Posted: 05 Aug 2021 11:01 AM PDT

On Tuesday, I posted out of curiosity, asking what your guys' luckiest victories from any Madden was. NOW, let's flip the switch and laugh a little more. Because I ask, what was your most frustrating defeat you took in any Madden?

Personally, there are a couple of moments that can be put here. But in the comments, I'll input my honorable mentions.

So with that being said, my most devastating Madden loss occurred in Madden 20. THIS franchise was significantly different from my main franchise from M21. It was a relocation franchise where I relocated the Bills to Chicago, and renamed them the Cougars. Now, I traded a ton of pieces on the team to rebuild. It was back when I was still learning a lot about team building and I was too scared to take the step from Rookie to Pro.

My Cougars franchise didn't see me fully play all the games. Instead, what I did was play the moments because I was on rookie, and I knew if I simmed some, played some, every game wouldn't always be a blowout.

We finished 12-4 and went on to win the Super Bowl in Year 1, and we had the bye again at 11-5 in year 2. We faced the Chiefs in the AFCDG. I think the score was 19-17 and we led. Chiefs had it at their 45, last play.

Mahomes threw up a prayer that was caught by Travis Kelce with no time left, we got eliminated. I'll count it, because that was frustrating, but not to the point that I was pissed enough to rage quit. My real frustrating loss is in the comment section.

    Madden 21: juggling addition

    Posted: 05 Aug 2021 04:04 PM PDT

I have a theory! Since FIFA is EA’s main game when trying new things and usually those features come in Madden a year later (for example Ultimate team FIFA 09 - Madden 10 etc.), and this year they’re getting create-a-club, we may get create-a-team from Madden 23 onwards.

    Just a theory.

How to move the ball against quarter/dollar D?

    Posted: 05 Aug 2021 10:36 AM PDT

I often play people online who sit in dollar or quarter or dime with 3 down linemen and then bring the safeties down into the box. You would think this would be easy to run against but it's really not. Just so easy for a DB to run around some oaf linemen and tackle your player.

Of course passing lanes are all clogged and typically they will have a stud DL who is going to blockshed within 3 seconds if not earlier.

If this was the NFL you could just go heavy and pound it but that never seems to work in madden. Any advice?

    Madden Difficulty/Sliders

    Posted: 05 Aug 2021 07:37 AM PDT

Hey all, my buddies and I are huge Franchise guys. We crank through a season in about 2 weeks and have played into 2032 and beyond. We constantly have the same issue though, our teams become so good and we just dominate. We play on all madden and have even adjusted sliders about 20 different times but the stats we manage to still put up are so unrealistic that we are expected to win every single game easily. Does anyone have any suggestions for sliders that actually make the game harder?

is running PA Boot Over unfair?

    Posted: 05 Aug 2021 01:19 PM PDT

I see alot of hate on here for players spamming PA Boot Over and am just wondering the community's opinion on how much someone would need to be running PA Boot Over for it to be unfair? Is it unfair to run PA Boot Over even once, or is it only unfair if you run it over and over again?

For example, I have a longterm franchise going with friends.. We have 10 minute quarters, so there are about 50 offensive plays per team per game... If I run PA Boot Over about 3-4 times per game, would that be considered spamming? Or does it only become unfair when someone runs it as a base offense and uses like 50% of the time or more?

I just want to make sure I am not being unfair to my friends !
