    Trouble With Max Power Kicks? (Madden 20)

    Anyone else having problems kicking at max power? Usually on field goals, I'd perfectly time a kick so that it's max power and the button doesn't seem to register. Interestingly enough, if I double tap X again (PS4) the accuracy bar will register and kick far right with no power.

    Unable to call a play

    So it's not super common, but i ran into a bug that can ruin a game, definitely a drive. Occasionally, when calling a timeout, it'll glitch and won't let you call a play, and you just have to wait for the play clock to run out and take the penalty. It's only happened twice to me, but it's extremely frustrating. I'm playing franchise mode on PC, so hopefully it's just a bug in that game mode/platform. Anyone have this glitch recently?

    I know EA's gaming engine is animation based. It always has been, and always will be. While this allows for some beautiful graphics (EA has always done this well, especially in comparison to 2k's abysmal graphics, lighting and coloring) - the game will never play realistically when it comes to actual movement and interactions/ collisions. (Something 2k does very well - at times)

    This animation based game makes Madden an extremely frustrating experience and I doubt that this will change with the next gen. it will make for some amazing looking games, but the more realistic they look the more obvious the poor gameplay will become.

    For starters, size means absolutely nothing in Madden. A 6-5 250 lb TE with a full head of steam will get absolutely stopped in his tracks by a stationary CB, the TE will FALL BACKWARDS, all momentum stopped.

    There is no such thing as high pointing the ball, either the game "decides" to award you a catching animation or the cornerback goes into a pick animation (which you can see coming a whole 2 seconds before it happens) it doesn't matter if your wide receiver is 7ft10, he's not going to catch the ball, he's not even going to get a hand on it.

    Running. I play with the Bills. Frank Gore is almost useless because he'll get through the hole (if suction animations don't stop him first) then get absolutely leveled by a nickel CB. He's not a star player anymore and he doesn't have abilities. Understandable. But this is where common sense physics comes into play.

    Don't even get me started with enforcers..

    One thing I will say that makes Madden extremely enjoyable this year - the revamped rating system and the superstar X factors. It gives each game a distinct feel - it also separates the All Stars from the average Joe's and you really have to game plan against them. I really, really hope EA doesn't make this one of those one-time back of the box features. I will be beyond pissed if they do that. All in all, legacy issues aside, Madden 20 has been the best Madden in quite some time. Now if we could only get some more franchise options and actually build our own stadiums again..

    For starters I usually get the newest madden game on Black Friday then I can get it for $35 instead of $60. This is the first year I'm considering not buying madden I have 19 and am content with that so I was wondering if the $35 is worth some basic roster updates. Also I see all these clips about these bugs and glitches are these pretty common or r most glitches in this sub pretty rare?

    SORE SPORT?? Who else hates when you’re beating someone and they start calling you a bum. So then you mute them because he won’t quit cussing with your 8 yr old in the room. Next comes messages. The one deleted is him threatening to hack my account. One he lost. It was he makes more $$$

    Why Haven’t The CPU Ball Carriers Not Been Using B.C. Moves or X-Factors For the Past 2 Months???

    Madden Devs please fix the CPU ball carriers. I can tell you the exact patch that ruined the CPU from using their ball carrier moves. Patch 1.11. ever since that patch, the CPU has been lifeless. Elusive players are not even a factor. They just run right into tackles when they have nowhere else to go without even trying to put on a move. They no longer make any exciting plays by making a defender miss a tackle. Before that patch, the CPU was so much more realistic and amazing the way they executed their ball carrier abilities. It's so annoying to even play the CPU because they don't even use their X-Factor abilities at all. What's the point of them having the "Juke Box" ability if they never even try to execute jukes? I have been a madden fan for the longest and this has completely ruined my experience. This ruins the game for simulation players, this ruins the game for people who watch CPU vs CPU gameplay, this ruins the game for players who don't play head to head that just want to enjoy playing the game offline, this ruins the game for players who want an actual challenge from the CPU and want to feel like they are playing against an elusive threat like a Lamar Jackson or a Saquon Barkley. The gameplay experience is just so bland without this. They are literally just running with the football and that's it smh. Please bring back the jukes, trucking, & stiff arming abilities of the CPU ball carriers. I have not touched Madden 20 for about 2 months now because of it. I have tried to test to see if they have fixed it in new patches & they never have. We haven't had CPU jukes since the 1.10 patch! This must get fixed ASAP 💯
