    Please change the roster positions for linebackers, edge rushers and defensive linemen. At the moment, edge rushers in a 4-3 (DE) are the same position as interior linemen in a 3-4, while in a 3-4, the edge rushers are in the same position as 4-4 off ball linebackers (OLB).

    The amount of times I have seen Chase Young playing off ball linebacker in a 4-3 for the Redskins because he was listed as a ROLB in their 3-4 before they changed coaches or Aaron Donald playing as DE in a 4-3 is insane. Madden 21 should have edge rusher as a depth chart position, as well as interior d-line and off ball/inside linebackers.

    I get that they have the RUSH LE/RE/DT positions and SUB LB but those are only on certain formations like nickel and dime sets as far as I know. Maybe the technology just isn't there yet...

    TLDR: In Madden 21 -->

    EDGE = 4-3 RE/LE, 3-4 ROLB/LOLB

    IDL = 4-3 DT, 3-4 RE/LE, DT (nose tackle)

    ILB = 4-3 ROLB/LOLB/MLB, 3-4 MLB

    Anyone else annoyed that rookies never develop because they are 2 overalls lower than a 32 YO with normal dev. It's annoying and makes it so sliders can't help. No matter what you do, a first round pick may never see the field. My user team will always be significantly better in overall mainly because I actually develop my rookies and not waste them on the bench. I love the ratings spread, but it's annoying that CPU depth chart logic is so awful. Also, they need to lower the amount of 75-79 ovr veterans in the game. They always get signed in Free agency when you start a franchise and prevent many rookies from playing. I personally feel this is more important than mini camp, as it may not be a fun fix but is necessary. I hate seeing the CPU manage their team like a 5 year old.

    I feel like a free to play nfl street game could of been a huge success this console generation when people got tired of madden. It's certainly what I did when I was 10+ years younger.

    I got bored playing franchise so me and a buddy tried to bring some of that NCAA feeling back.

    Rules

    1. All players on team must have 5 years experience or less
      1. When taking over a team everyone over this limit must be cut
    2. players over 5 years are traded for picks
      1. This is supposed to emulate getting more recruits as your team improves
    3. You are allowed one free agent that is under 5 years experience during free agency period
      1. This is supposed to emulate transfer players, These players can not be traded for picks
    4. During regular season you can only sign free agents with under 5 years experience and under 70 overall
      1. This is for filling out roster spots, not intended to improve team
    5. No trading for other players

    Things we do but its not really a rule

    We relocated teams that did not have a Superbowl. During the regular Season we play half the games with play the moments and sim the other half. During playoffs we do play the moments for each game. We feel this is a good mixture of using the team you have built but also not spending so much time playing each game so you can get through seasons faster. In my league with my buddy we have salary cap on. In my personal one I have it off so whatever floats your boat. If you really want you cant cut everyone on the team and start fresh. (I did this for my personal league)

    I have been having a lot of fun with this. Its very much like your team is the trail program for new players and other teams are buying "guarantees" from you. Me and my friend are always sad when we have to trade our favorite players. But it is very fun to see the players you had to give up on other teams. I encourage you to give it a try!
