    Downgrade

    Phillip Rivers - You can make a strong argument that he should only be a star. He has more turnovers than TDs.

    Byron Jones - . He never deserved an X-factor in the first place. Even giving him a Superstar was a debateable after having only 1 good year at CB. He has 0 Interceptions and only 5 pass deflections. X-Factors are for game changers and he isn't one. He has 1 interception in the last 2 years.

    Le'Veon Bell - Part of it is due to Adam Gase's ineptitude, but he is averaging 3.2 yards per carry and has 4 TDs for the year. He won't even come close to hitting 1000 yards rushing. X-Factors are limited and we shouldn't let certain players hog them when they are massively underperforming. His resume is worthy of a superstar thou.

    Juju - He isn't close to what he was last year with AB drawing the top CB or being the priority of the defense. Deandre Hopkins killed it with whoever was at QB for years and JuJu isn't close to being on his level.

    Upgrades to X-Factor

    Jamal Adams - (Reinforcement) - Dynamic playmaking safety. Has a strong case for being the best SS in the league.

    Lamar Jackson - (First One Free) - MVP favorite.

    Deshaun Watson - (Gambler or Fearless) - Complete Game Changer and can produce on his own

    Chandler Jones - (Unstoppable Force)- He is currently 3rd in sacks, he was 8th in 2018 and he was 1st in 2017. He is consistent and its time he gets some respect.

    This is driving me crazy but their was a madden that had a bunch of throwback players that you simply turn on for franchise mode and they would either be in free agency if you started with a regular team or they would be in a fantasy pool. It's not MUT and it wasn't a franchise where you chose one legend to play as.

    I'm sure a lot of you have been playing Madden for years but is their any in particular that stood out for you that was hands down your favorite Madden?

    Personally, my favorite madden ever, would have to be Madden 09! It was what really got me into madden and it kind of had what we would see as X factors in Madden. Then you had Super Star Mode, starting with the iq test and then the draft combine. Classic!

    Playing with the Ravens, the team with a guy who is breaking records for QB attempts and just had his first fumble of the season

    I've played with the Ravens several times in head to head, and in all seriousness I don't think I've ever fumbled less than two times in a game. Just finished a game where Lamar fumbled four times in the first half.

    And it's not a Lamar problem, this game has the utterly moronic belief that any quarterback at any time after any given tackle should have a 50% chance of fumbling. It's completely fucking stupid given the evolution of the game as evidenced by this season, and makes executing a legitimate Ravens-style offense in the game an exercise in futility

    It's been a problem for years, but it's never been more evident how stupid this problem is. As if they can't differentiate between fumbles while in the pocket and fumbles while on the run in the open field

    I'm doing a Chicago Bears owner mode franchise. The Bears have a lot of 2019 cap space but very limited 2020 cap space. Unfortunately, many of the players I would trade to clear that space have very high signing bonuses, so that would only hurt me when it comes to extending players. So I understand that I will have to let some players walk and be reticent with my $$. However, what's happening is completely befuddling me.

    When I negotiate with Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, the starting offer is $27.5M/5 yrs. 3M in salary and 2.66 in signing bonus. This contract causes a $4.29M cap hit, leaving me with $3.19M cap space.

    When I negotiate with Nick Kwiatkoski the starting offer is $14.3M/3 yrs. 1.8M in salary and 870k in signing bonus. This contract causes a $2.19M cap hit, leaving me with........$314k cap space. what??

    I'm trying to figure out what could possibly cause this and can't think of anything at all. It makes absolutely no sense. So I thought I'd come to reddit for help. Do you guys know what's happening here?

    what is up with kicking FGs/XP in Madden 20

    what is up with kicking FGs/XP in Madden 20? Kicking is near impossible with the input lag. I will line up the kick, and once I hit X on PS to kick, the meter does not start going for a good 3 secs, even when I get all of the hits right, it always shanks the kick.

    Need Help with a problem...

    So I have the disc version of Madden 20, and for whatever reason it started being slow. Slow to load up, slow to load into game modes, it like freezes for like 15-30 seconds when I actually play and then it speeds up, etc. And I was just wondering if there's anything you guys know that could fix it. I noticed it had a couple smudges & stuff so I looked up how to get smudges off a disc & I did the first thing that comes up using Rubbing Alcohol to clean it off and it worked better at first but it's gone back to doing it again! If anyone could help I'd greatly appreciate it!

    I've been playing Madden 19 for well over a year now. I strictly play Franchise mode as the Chargers.

    I'm on my 3rd season (I play slowly and in spurts) and I love the team I've built, draft classes and more.

    Today I saw Franchise for Madden 20 had upgrades to it. Plus I read about it. The scenarios seem pretty cool. I know not a lot is different but I'm willing to upgrade if the scenarios are worthwhile or if the game itself is worthwhile.

    While I love my team on Madden 19, I'd be willing to start over on 20. Just not sure if there is enough in Franchise to make it worth it.

    (Note: I know Franchise gets the short end every year but, to me, even something small that adds in some kind of extra story mode makes it fun).
