    I hate Madden 20 announcers

Jesus Christ, if I have to listen to anymore of the same basic, repetitive, mind-numbingly terrible commentary of Brandin Gaudin and Charles Davis I'm going to blow my brains out, they are terrible!

95 overall or 59 overall? You wouldn’t be able to tell. Answer: Bruce Matthews 95 OVR. How pretty is that interior lineman play. Wow.

Get rid of pre-existing injuries in CFM post fantasy draft.

    Posted: 15 Jan 2020 08:22 PM PST

Hey guys, Quick question, I just competed a fantasy draft in CFM with my buddies, but like a goof I forgot to turn off pre-existing injuries before the draft, so guys we drafted now have season long injuries and we can't use them in the game this season. When I try to go into league settings to turn off the pre-existing injuries, the option is greyed out and not editable. Any way to fix this? Thanks.

Well, that's an embarrassing way to give up a touchdown on the first snap.

Traded bum Mariota, Tannehill broke his collar bone and was put on IR.

Traded bum Mariota, Tannehill broke his collar bone and was put on IR.

I am doing a franchise with the Tennessee Titans. In the preseason I trade away Mariota because he broke my heart in real life. I decide to roll with Tannehill and Jackson (due to his athleticism and age) as back-up and be true to the real life Titans and run the ball a lot. Nearing the end of the first game of the regular season, Tannehill takes some contact after completing a check-down pass and is diagnosed with a broken collar bone. He'll be out for a fair amount of the season so I put him on IR. I will not trade assets away at this point to re-tool my QB room as I am playing a run first style and really only need to not make mistakes to win games. While Jackson is fun he triggers me frequently with some ridiculously arrant throws. I look at Vrabels playbook and see a decent amount of RO, RPO, and screens available which kind of fit Jackson's strengths and limitations. I sign Phillip Walker as back-up in case Jackson wants to pull a Tannehill.

I win week two, Derrick Henry does his thing and Dion Lewis does his. I don't think I attempted a pass further than 10 yards all game. The RPO and RO work wonders for me, Jackson contributes on the ground and doesn't have to commit too much to throwing.

Then... Week 3, I play the stupid Jaguars, they always give me problems. My first passing play of the game is so fucking inaccurate. It's one of those passes that Madden 20 throws out there there is so infuriating that I am sure there is blood in my stool. But I digress.

Jacksonville's defense is super aggressive, they're stacking the box and crashing to stop the run. Fortunately I've been RPO'ing a lot and I am comfortable making the pre-snap reads and quick decisions to counter this.

Now to the gem stat line. I didn't realize that I was passing so efficiently as I was more focused on moving the ball than anything. Throwing with Jackson makes my balls feel like I'm on a roller coaster every time. It isn't until the 3rd quarter than a little stat line pops up over Jackson saying I've completed 21 in a row. (I don't play with the volume on, the music sucks and the announcers do too.) By the end of the game I've completed 34 in a row, also picked up 74 yards and a rushie to go with it.

Long story short, I've had games like this before but never with such an inaccurate QB and those stat lines never snuck up on me like this one did.

P.S., sorry for the scrub tier photo of t.v. post. I am but a lowly peasant who has not invested in the whole online aspect of Madden.

How the fuck did I not get a perfect QBR?

    Discord: https://discord.gg/MGr9PnC

Teams Available: Jags, Titans, Jets, Chiefs, Cardinals, Seahawks, Patriots

NOTE: If the team you want has a bad record, don't worry our draft class will contain players from movies such as the waterboy and the great khail from the longest yard as a 7' tall FB.

In order to see the rosters, you must join the discord but here's a summary of each team.

[3-6] Jags: Arguably the best pass rush in the entire league, the Jags have Bruce Smith, John Randle and Julius Peppers ready to eat up opposing QB's

[6-4] Titans: The AFC South leader, the Titans have Joe Montana, Luke Kuechly, Charles Haley (95 OVR) and Joe Jacoby (95 OVR)

[5-4] Jets: The AFC East leader, the Jets have the highest-powered offense in the league with Randy Moss, Adrian Peterson (98 OVR), Frank Tankerton and the bus Jerome Bettis leading the charge.

[5-5] Chiefs: We call the Chiefs "X-Factor Heaven" because they contain all-star players like Deandre Hopkins and Stephon Gilmore as well as legends like Marcus Allen.

[3-7] Cardinals: At 3 and 7, the cardinals are actually 2nd in the NFC West and they could seriously make a playoff push with Reggie White and Drew Brees leading the charge

[4-6] Seahawks: Seattle has one of the most balanced rosters in the league with weapons like Terrell Owens (99 OVR) and Erick Dickerson (99 OVR) on offense and Mike Haynes (98 OVR), Charles Tillman (95 OVR) on defense.

[1-8] Patriots: A rebuilder's heaven, the patriots have some of the best players in the league with John Elway, Jerry Rice, Derrick Brooks, Emlen Tunnell, and Alan Page all being 99 OVRs.

About: We're an extremely chill league that's all about having fun! We took a roster that had every single team's all-time greats and we did a fantasy draft with them.

The fuck is with all the face masks EA?

    Posted: 15 Jan 2020 04:53 PM PST

I've lost a solo three times in a row now because of fake masks, no bull shit. Challenge is not to allow a 1st down, and three attempts on this solo in a row I've gotten a face mask... shit seems very rigged, it's on the Hero solos (Cold Snap). Asides from that, they have been rampant this year, I truly wonder it they test their games and play them before release, because I don't see how they do if there's nobody in their entire payroll that can't fucking detect the abundance of face masks

Edit* I just got my fourth face mask

Edit* just got 5th face mask, might start posting videos of this
