    How do you become a captain in a player franchise?

    I've been playing QB1 for a bit (2 years to be exact) and I've been playing a pretty solid game. I'm wondering if there is a way to earn a captain patch? I know in a team or coach franchise you can go and set it yourself, but as a player I'm not sure how to earn the patch. Sorry if this is a dumb question. Thanks for the help.

    5th year option

    Quick question when doing a 5th year option. If I were to then trade the player, or cut them.. do I receive a penalty?

    Right now I have a LE who is due 3.51 in 2023 in my franchise. I did the 5th year option so he is due 14.4 in 2024.

    When I go to roster, under savings it shows 1.64 and a penalty of 1.87.

    Is there a penalty for the 14.4 for 2024 if I were to trade him away? That 14.4 million would be better spent on some other extensions that I need to make.

    H2H goals

    Accomplished my goal of getting an online H2H win with every team. Contemplating my next goal??? I think i wanna main 3 teams: a low tier, a mid tier and a top tier. I like an option offense/running qb. Thinkin cardinals for bottom tier, panthers for mid tier(maybe chargers i like t taylor as the backup for pistol/shotgun formations), and ravens as my top tier team. Thoughts?

    Are 5th year options worth it in CFM?

    I was recently looking through my salaries page and saw a player I picked up the 5th year option for and saw his salary goes from 4.7m in his 4th year to 14.4m in his 5th year. Wouldn't have just been smarter to sign him to a contract before his 5th year? Please let me know.

    This game’s Matchmaking system is Trash

    So I just bought Madden 20 yesterday. The matchmaking in H2H is absolute garbage. How come as a 79 OVR, I'm getting matched against 89-92 OVR players?

    I've played a total of 10 H2H now and every game the opponent has 3 97 OVR players whereas I have 1 player with an OVR of 88??

    How is that remotely close to my skill level?

    Am I missing something? Or is it a known issue that the matchmaking system in this game is complete trash.

    X Factor disappeared in Franchise

    Had just earned X Factor for one of my wideouts and got the mossed ability. Advance to next week, and my wide out isn't an X Factor. Has anyone else had this happen in franchise?
