- Alright Madden there is a problem.
- This is why I hate this game. I see Ginn open in the far right corner. Ginn is B. I hit B. This is where Brees throws it.
- First play of the Superbowl. 6'9 320lbs DT interception.
- Servers down again?
- Fuck EA

- Servers.....again.
- Alright. Down a td. Games not over yet. Lets get the offense going...and....
- Are the servers down???

There should be a ‘no celebration’ option Posted: 29 Feb 2020 06:08 AM PST I wish there was a no celebration option where your guy just hands the ball to the ref. Certain situations, a celebration is unnecessary. For instance, you're down 30 and score. Why would I want to do the milly rock? Or sometimes you just want to be humble. [link] [comments]

Is 21 the game we get in depth uniform creation? Posted: 29 Feb 2020 02:57 PM PST The Buccaneers, Rams, Browns, and Flacons are all getting new uniforms like the jets did a year ago. Which makes right now a perfect time to add a custom Uniform builder for current team or relocation, it's not out of EA's ability they have it in NHL ( not prefect but good). Why not now when so many team are switching it up. They could even add it into franchise with a rating system like the stadiums have. This would be really fun I think. [link] [comments]
Quick refresher on outcomes and abilities in M20 Posted: 29 Feb 2020 10:53 PM PST Information has been scattered around a few different places about calculating outcomes and impact of abilities. I wanted to consolidate it best I could for myself and share it with the sub as well. This info is blatantly ripped from the great work of MUT_Leaks20 on Twitter This info is just a rough draft, if you have better information or things I missed, please let me know and I'll update. DICE ROLLS: HOW DOES MADDEN DECIDE IF I CATCH THE BALL? Madden, similar to an RPG, does a ton of "dice rolls" behind the scenes that determine the outcome and timing of many in-game events. This is especially true in the mode we play (simulation). While we don't have visibility into all the dice rolls, here's a decent compilation of the probability charts we know of in M20 (many old M19 ones apply as well). There's a lot of stuff there. You'll want to download it if on mobile, or "open original" on desktop to be able to drill in. THRESHOLDS: AM I GOOD ENOUGH? In the above, you'll also see a section on Thresholds. These give further insight into the different outcomes in two ways:
You'll also things in thresholds like strict definitions of throw lengths for SAC, MAC, and DAC abilities. Lastly, on the bottom right you can see an example of how patches continue to change gameplay from month to month by adjusting the likelihood of certain outcomes in the game's calculations. This helps you see in a direct way the impact player ratings have on outcomes. ABILITIES: I GOT MOSSED Abilities impact outcomes as well. They do this in two ways:
Here's a list of the outcomes impacted by various abilities: You'll notice a lot more "forced" outcomes by xfactor abilities. The other thing we've been told by the devs is that "forced outcomes" will cancel each other out. So you have a WR with Mossed active, they have ForcePressOutcome_OffSuperWin, which means they're guaranteed to destroy the defender in press. But if you have a DB with Shutdown active, they have ForcePressOutcome_DefSuperWin which will cancel out the offensive ability and the game will fall back to calculated results. Challenges shouldn’t even be in madden Posted: 01 Mar 2020 01:31 AM PST There is literally no reason for it. The reason we have them in real football is in case the ref gets something wrong. The only reason madden is ever wrong is because of a bug (that a challenge won't overturn) or it was intentionally wrong, so you could challenge it. Challenges are a bandaid to an unfixable problem with the sport. If refs could operate flawlessly we wouldn't have challenges in real life, so why have them in the game rather than just have the game operate perfectly? [link] [comments]
