    I'm super excited if this is legit. Can't wait for 2k to release a game so we won't just have to rely on EA for football game. I personally will be skipping out on Madden 21 in hopes that it pushes both companies to release better products for the consumers.

    So wait. It says this candidate signed with me but then it says on the bottom it's rejected even though i offered him 3x his desired contract. Did they even test this mode before release, like at all? Why does madden 04 have a more in depth & less glitchy/broken franchise mode than it's successor almost 2 decades later. This is a joke and completely ruins the game mode. Issues they hopefully fixed for m21:

    ​

    • The glitch above. Can't even code a text response right. Have no idea if he signed or not.
    • Staff signing screen dissappears after you back out of it once.
    • The mode will randomly sign coaches i never wanted for me, out of nowhere. makes no sense.
    • In owner mode, you can only sign a coach, a scout, and a trainer. Where is the fken variability? In the ps2 gen, we could sign the Head coach, Offensive coordinator, defensive coordinator, special teams coach, wr coach, rb coaches, qb coaches, etc. Not to mention former players would often be candidates for head coaching spots sometime after their retirement which was an extra neat feature nobody knew they wanted but was a nice addition.
    • Ability to re-locate anywhere and fully customize your team.
    • Coaches even had stats/rankings back in the day so there would be more strategy in the mode rather than just going for the level 30 guy all the time. Motivation, work ethic, knowledge, chemistry, offensive and defensive mindset were a few of the ratings they included.
    • The trade function is awful, and predictable. Makes replay value in the mode low, because if you play around for a lil while you start seeing how to take advantage of the system, making the game extremely lame and repetitive. Not to mention trade logic is worse than games from 15 years ago. If i were to offer patrick mahomes and a 1st overall pick and 2nd overall pick for a 85 overall CB the other team will reject it. Never fails. Repetitive idiotic trade logic. Guards are also undervalued in the mode. I always manage to trade for Quenton nelson and give up a buncha random junk picks i don't need.
    • Real contracts arent used for fantasy drafts, which is the only thing i really run because it adds that unpredictability factor to the mode which I like. The contracts are base off which round you are taken in, which sucks cause every 1st rounder gets a 5 year contract so u have to wait at least 5 seasons before u are able to sign anyone in free agency which would be significant to your team. Having real contracts like 2k has in fantasy drafts would make you think more of you are drafting instead of being comfortable with unlimited cap, makes it feel like it's rookie mode.
    • Why, oh why, is the trade limit still only 3 players. Just why.
    • Awards feel meaningless, and the user interface hides where the stats/accolades are for the most part. Add more seasonal awards, milestones, etc.
    • If madden 2005 for the ps2, a 2nd gen console could have the Tony Bruno radio show, i'm sure you could add a radio personality for the 5th generation of maddens, as an optional background noise to bring life into the game.
    • Make the option to edit player ratings something you have to turn on or off before you begin a new franchise. The fact that we always have the option to edit player ratings makes everything feel like rookie mode, once again.
    • Add analytics into the game.
    • Why are stats broken, why can't we see our players career stats unless we dig for the career stats tab, and why can't we ever see their stats ever again after they retired. Feels meaningless. No end game reward for having players who had amazing careers which were HOF worthy.

    I'm sure there is plenty more, this wasn't a planned thread, I just made it from the top of my head after I saw that glitch again and i'm probably gonna stick to online h2h till m21 comes out. It's sad that the 1st madden i ever purchased, madden 2004, had a more in depth franchise mode than madden 20. just sad.

    I'm really new to discord, but I'd like to transition our CFM over to it. I've been reading that you can integrate bots that will do things like pull transactions and game results from daddy leagues, notify when someone streams, etc. can someone please help me set this up?

    And more importantly, why do a lot of franchise players seem to be eager for the upcoming 2K release when it is explicitly not a franchise or sim program and won't be for years?

    I mean, I too am pissed about Madden 21 franchise, but the kind of game 2K is putting out seams pretty far from from what I'm looking for.
