Posted: 31 Jul 2020 08:52 PM PDT I've bought every Madden since Madden 15. I remember playing on snow days and having all the fun in the world with it, relocating the Redskins and running around with RG3 and Darren Sproles and being excited when I make a huge play. However as the years progressed and I got older, upgrading my console, I've only seen Madden regress. Consistent broken mechanics, bad player movement, unrealistic gameplay, and so many bugs and glitches getting worse every year. EA made promises of fixing gameplay and bugs and adding new features that made it seem like their next game would be the one to change the Madden franchise altogether, but those features were only a nuisance and didn't add anything to the game and it only got worse. Even after all of those years of disappointment and dissatisfaction, I remained loyal to Madden purely because of my love of football and the great experiences it once gave me. I tried 2K17 after their online server shutdown, and while I appreciated the MyCareer story it just wasn't my thing. Come Madden 20, with its sleek advertisements and the "huge" X-Factor system, I felt more excited about Madden than I had in a long time. Preordered the game, only to find that the story was again unrealistic and the X-Factor system was completely overpowered and broken. I refuse to believe that Harrison Smith will make anybody fumble the ball 9 times a game or that Julio Jones can catch a ball left handed with 3 defenders around him. To go with that, this is the most unrealistic Madden I have ever seen. It's impossible to dive without fumbling the ball, and when your player is right on top of their own fumble they refuse to pick it up, defense is borderline nonexistent, touchdowns don't count when replays clearly show that both feet are in bounds, and animations are the only reason why 72 OVR receivers can Moss Jalen Ramsey or Jaire Alexander. Not to mention that any given game is obviously scripted. You can't play online without spending your hard earned money to make a usable MUT team, either. I give 2K20 a shot, and I'm hooked. 2K is top tier in sports video games. Everything is realistic, you can play online without spending money on your MyPlayer, and the story is impeccable compared to Maddens. I am never buying Madden again unless there is a major overhaul on the entire game. I can't stand broken promises and using players for money. EA doesn't care about the consumer, only their money. The only EA game I'd buy now is NCAA Football, so until that happens, I'm done with EA. [link] [comments]

Posted: 31 Jul 2020 05:50 PM PDT Why are so many "inaccurate passes" thrown exactly where I want them—a place where only my guy can get it or no one can. I need more control over where the ball goes for this to really feel like a sim experience [link] [comments]

Posted: 31 Jul 2020 11:17 PM PDT By micro transactions let's say EA allowed players to spend EA points on player/coach progression. In addition users could spend points on customizing their stadium/team (you could still use some basic stadium/uniform presets but if you want a customized one you need to spend points). In addition you could force trades with points (upwards of two every league year). [link] [comments]
