We haven't seen gameplay, art, or even an announcement that the next gen version is even coming out when the new consoles do. It literally may as well be the same game and we'd have no idea. That's probably whats actually happening too. Even 2k shows gameplay and features of the next-gen version of the game meanwhile all we know about it is that our MUT coins transfer lmfao. So pathetic. | The Coin Flip: The Most Balanced House Rules Method for Franchise Mode Posted: 07 Oct 2020 02:16 PM PDT Intro If you love to play franchise mode, build a team, and play as fairly and realistically as possible, this method is for you. I love franchise mode, but I've always run into the issue of balance. It's far too easy to build a super team and to keep it, and this in turn leads to the gameplay getting stale. One offseason into your franchise and you can already have a Super Bowl caliber team. So the question is, how can I build a team fairly while adhering to a realistic standard for team balance? The answer is the Coin Flip. This method embraces the unpredictable nature of the real life NFL, and does a good job of keeping you on your toes and causing you to change your plans from season to season. So here are my house rules to make sure my game play never gets stale. Using this method, I never know what my team is going to look like when the offseason ends, and it always keeps me on my toes as a team manager. For starters, find yourself a quarter and pick your winning side. I'm a heads guy myself. Almost every decision you make hinges on a coin flip. Pretty much all of these rules are for offseason, team building purposes. The Rules - As your season progresses and your players are asking to be re-signed, grab your quarter. First off, choose one player above 80 OVR to not re-sign. This is automatic, no coin flip needed. You may not like it, but it helps keep your team balanced every season. - As for the other players needing a new contract, this is where the coin comes in. For every single player that you want to re-sign, you must flip the coin and win your flip. If you don't win your flip, you do NOT re-sign the player. If you lose multiple great players, too bad. This happens in real life every season. - Next is Free Agency. You are allowed to go after only ONE free agent per off-season, and you must stick to that decision, because you have to flip your coin to see if you can even go after the player. If you lose the coin flip, you cannot go after the player, or anybody else. You have lost your free agency privileges. - Next is the Draft. This is where the fun really begins. Be prepared to have multiple players that you like on draft day, because there is no guarantee that you will end up with that future superstar that you love. The rules for the draft are simple. On every single player you want to draft, you must flip a coin. If you lose your coin flip, you do not get to draft that player and must draft someone else. You could even lose your coin flip on the next player and you will be forced to draft someone else once again. EVERY SINGLE PLAYER NEEDS A COIN FLIP. This embraces the unpredictable nature of the NFL Draft. You never know if you are gonna get your guy. - This may bum some of you out, but you are not allowed to individually trade with the CPU at all. It's too easy to take advantage of some of the glitches and general stupidity of the AI. However, you are allowed to put ONE player on the trade block per season. I find the values of some of these trades are more realistic than going to the trade menu. -Lastly, you are allowed to use free agency during the actual season as often as you wish to fill any holes that you may have. Generally you won't find much value here, so it's not too OP to make use of it. That's about it as far as the coin flip rules go. Settings wise, keep the salary cap on obviously. As far as the gameplay sliders, I use Matt10's sliders to achieve good animation gameplay. I'll link them at the bottom. So that's pretty much it guys, that's the system. I hope you guys like it and get as much fun out of it as I have. I promise you it is one of the most fun things to have your team cut to shreds in one off-season, forcing you to turn to players you never dreamed of starting. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 07 Oct 2020 10:27 PM PDT Im a new madden player and boy do i fucking suck. I play as the seahawks and i throw a pick nearly every drive. I try to read the defense and adjust my throws high and low, lob and bullet, but i either make the wrong call and it gets picked, or i make the right call and it still gets fucking picked. I havent played football but i understand how the game works but I just cant stop throwing picks. Fr like 4-7 picks a game. Its bad. Please help me. [link] [comments] | ||
