| Thoughts on Madden 21 Franchise? Posted: 15 Feb 2021 02:31 PM PST I was a big Madden 20 franchise player. It was the first year I played franchise. I loved it, but I knew it sucked. I was excited for Madden 21 to launch with updates to franchise mode. Boy was I wrong. I cancelled my preorder and haven't thought about Madden since, well I guess until now. At launch time I saw Madden's tweets and attempts to make it right by us and talk about improvements they were going to make to Franchise, but I didn't believe them. I've completely stopped following anything related to Madden since. So, Im curious. What's the prevailing sentiment of Madden 21 franchise? Did they ever get around to fixing it? Like my team wins the Super Bowl and the next year I'm fighting jalen hurts for my starting position? Wtf is this? And what's with every three years I get a new coach. You do not need an Xbox to be a GM but an Xbox will be required as a coach. Coaches play the game. GMs hire the coach and manage the roster like IRL GMs! With PFF, ESPN, coaching carousels a website and so much more there isn't anything else you would want in this league.We will be using very realistic gameplay ( including strafe)Coaches and Gms will all be real people.Lots of spots still left so grab one fast! Posted: 15 Feb 2021 09:35 PM PST I traded CMC and a 7th for: Matt Judon JK Dobbins 2 firsts I traded Curtis Samuel for: JPP a first Jeremy Chinn and Troy Pride for: RG Gabe Jackson (81 ovr 29 year old guard) MLB Nick Kwiatkowski (75-80 ovr MLB, not sure exactly what ovr rn) FS Jeff Heath (72 ovr FS) CB Daryl Worley (75 ovr CB) A 3rd Teddy Bridgewater and Justin Zimmer for: Netane Muti (77 ovr hidden dev rookie RG) Drew Lock Nick Vannett 2nd round pick Now, I'm not very good at all madden. I ranted on here the other day about it. I played the cardinals in week 4, and Isaiah Simmons went unblocked on a blitz for 12 sacks. On offense, the guy audibled to DHop repeatedly. No matter what coverage I called, he was open and got 30-40 yards. At the end of the game, DHop had 12 TDs. He went to him every play and me being under pressure had to just chuck the ball up to not take the sack. I threw three pick sixes and the final score was 105-3. I'm being accused of being a roster dumper after trading a great RB for positions of need, a good WR for positions of need, and a great rookie safety for positions of need. I'm being "investigated" by the commissioners of the league who say I'm tanking and not trying and making the team awful. But they refuse to acknowledge I've built a great roster (of starters, at least). The only starter below 75 ovr is Drew Lock, who is 72 ovr. TLDR; traded cmc and a couple other great players for positions of need. Got killed bad and got accused of being a roster dumper, a tanker, and have been clowned for being bad at the game.
