Maybe next year we can actually get some decent o-line prospects besides every single half decent prospect being a center

Is there a way to go back like a week in franchise mode? I was undefeated 11-0 and I pressed skip to next week thinking I already beat them and it gave me a loss.

Pick 7-20 - Max Holloway (CB, Wisconsin, 64 OVR)

With the retirement of his long time rival, Patrick Mahomes, 38 year old Lamar Jackson has to come to terms with his own impending retirement as well. He may not have another Super Bowl in him, but he wants to make the playoffs and leave the team in a good position to win without him. Coach Martindale can only agree, as he wants to get as much mileage out of his future Hall of Fame QB as possible.

In week 1 against the Browns, Lamar Jackson broke Drew Brees' all time passing TD record. The team rallied around their veteran QB to start hot, coming to a 6-2 record at midseason. The Ravens finished with a 12-4 record and the 2 seed.

The Ravens faced the Super Bowl champions, the 9-7 Kansas City Chiefs, in the Wild Card round. The Chiefs started the game with an opening drive rushing TD by Bradley Goode. The Ravens countered with a rushing TD of their own by DaQuan Wayne. The next score came in the second quarter when Chiefs QB Justin Herbert threw a 28 yard TD to Dre Samuel. The Ravens answered with a passing TD of their own to David Harris. The Chiefs ended the first half with a field goal. Baltimore took the lead in the 2nd half with a rushing TD from rookie Rashawn Burnett. The Chiefs fired back with a TD pass to J.T. Gregory. The Ravens scored again with a J.C. Porter TD. The Chiefs established a 3 point lead with a minute left through a TD pass to Russel Foote. The Ravens were unable to tie the game back up.

    Heroes of 2035:

On the way to his ninth MVP award, Lamar Jackson threw for 4,669 yards and 44 TD's.

Tremayne Hearst led the league in receiving yards (1,535) and was second in TDs (17).

    Pro Bowlers:

    Lamar Jackson (QB)

    Tremayne Hearst (WR)

    David Harris (WR)

    J.C. Porter (TE)

    Ethan Robinson (LG)

    Antonio Baxter (C)

    Grant Diggs (RG)

    Caleb Henry (RT)

    Tony Spillman (RT)

    Paul Jackson (DT)

    Jose Dawkins (CB)

    Emmett Felder (FS)

    Corey Bowers (PR)

    2036

Caleb Henry was resigned to a 4 year, 65.7 million dollar contract.

Lamar Jackson was resigned to a 1 year, 23 million dollar contract.

Antonio Baxter was resigned to a 3 year, 34 million dollar contract.

Paul Jackson was resigned to a 3 year, 30.3 million dollar contract.

Thaddeus McCloud was resigned to a 2 year, 13 million dollar contract.

Grant Diggs was resigned to a 1 year, 11.1 million dollar contract.

Troy Folk (K) was resigned to a 2 year, 7.26 million dollar contract.

Picked up Emmett Felder's fifth year option.

    Draft:

Pick 2-20 - Shelton Dickerson (CB, Rutgers, 75 OVR, Hidden)

Pick 3-20 - Morgan Givens (HB, Arizona State, 76 OVR)

Pick 4-20 - T.J. McQueen (QB, Ohio State, 66 OVR)

Pick 5-20 - Richard Regan (RT, Syracuse, 63 OVR)

Pick 6-20 - Andy Dixon (LT, Ole Miss, 62 OVR)

Pick 7-20 - Damarious Betts (CB, Wisconsin, 60 OVR)

With the retirement of Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson is now the only player from the 2018 Draft Class. As the oldest player in the league, he wants to prove that he's still got it by making a deeper playoff run than last year. Martindale's goal is to develop the defensive line a bit more.

The team didn't exactly get off to the start that they had hoped, going 5-3 by midseason. The team regrouped and entered the playoffs with an 11-5 record.

The Ravens came up against the Colts in the divisional round. The Colts forced a punt and capitalized with a field goal. The Ravens rebounded with their own field goal. A Lamar Ogletree interception led to a second field goal. The Ravens forced a punt and scored the first TD of the game: a pass to David Harris. There were no scores in the 3rd quarter, but in the 4th, the Colts scored on a Carter Pollard pass to Quentin Samuel. Lamar Jackson threw a TD pass to Johnny Poole to put the game away.

In the Divisional, Coach Martindale met the Dolphins for the first time in the postseason. Oddly, the first score came when the Dolphins punted away the opening possession, then tackling the Ravens RB for a safety. The Ravens got revenge with a Lamar Ogletree pick-six. The Ravens followed it up with a field goal. In the second quarter, the Dolphins kicked a field goal. The Ravens repaid them with a Rashawn Burnett TD run. Somehow, the Ravens ALSO got a safety in the second half. A Shawn Christmas interception led to a Tremayne Hearst TD. The Dolphins fired back with a George Parker TD run. The Ravens ran out the clock for a final score of 26-19.

Their opponent in the championship game was the Texans. Houston scored first with an interception that led to a Malcolm Bayer passing TD to Reggie Callahan. The Ravens responded with a Lamar Jackson TD of their own. The Texans next drive was stalled by a Jose Dawkins interception that put the Ravens in position for a Tremayne Hearst TD. Baltimore got a taste of their own medicine when Spencer James picked off Lamar Jackson for a Josh Hunter TD. The Ravens finished the half with a field goal. The first score in the 2nd half came with a Baltimore field goal. The Texans took a one point lead with a Julius Harmon TD. The Ravens took the lead back with two minutes in the 4th quarter with a field goal. Houston made a long drive and kicked another field goal to go up by one again and win the game 24-23.

    Heroes of 2036:

Lamar Jackson won his tenth MVP award. He threw for 4,764 yards and 40 TDs.

Tremayne Hearst put up 1,556 receiving yards and 17 TD's.

Paul Jackson had 11 TFLs and 7.5 sacks.

    Pro Bowl:

    Lamar Jackson (QB)

    Tremayne Hearst (WR)

    David Harris (WR)

    Ethan Robinson (LG)

    Antonio Baxter (C)

    Grant Diggs (RG)

    Caleb Henry (RT)

    Tony Spillman (RT)

    Dakota Clements (FS)

    2037

Lamar Jackson was resigned to a 1 year, 21 million dollar contract.

Jose Dawkins was resigned to a 1 year, 10.7 million dollar contract.

Ramon Thompson was resigned to a 3 year, 33 million dollar contract.

Lamar Ogletree was resigned to a 1 year, 7.2 million dollar contract.

Byron Hix was resigned to a 5 year, 55 million dollar contract.

Tony Spillman was resigned to a 3 year, 32.3 million dollar contract.

Grant Diggs was resigned to a 1 year, 7.87 million dollar contract.

    Franchise Tagged Shawn Christmas.

Kendrick Norton was signed to a 2 year, 6.34 million dollar contract.

Picked up James Nobles' fifth year option.

    Retirements:

    Thaddeus McCloud (ROLB)

    David Harris (WR)

    Grant Diggs (RG)

    Draft:

Pick 1-22 - George Locke (WR, Louisville, 74 OVR)

    Pick 2-30 - Scott Burris (C, Florida, 75 OVR)

Pick 3-30 - Dwayne Jackson (MLB, Buffalo, 69 OVR)

Pick 4-30 - Shelton Merritt (WR, Hawaii, 69 OVR)

Pick 5-30 - Ramon Johnston (RE, South Carolina. 67 OVR, Hidden)

Pick 6-30 - Brian Tyson (WR, Mississippi State, 66 OVR)

Pick 7-30 - Manny Rainey (LOLB, Mississippi State, 64 OVR)

After a heartbreaking loss to the Texans in the AFC Championship, Lamar Jackson wants to redeem himself by bringing one last Super Bowl to Baltimore. This one would be more difficult than the rest, missing some of the key players from last years' run.

The Ravens had a great start, going 6-1 at midseason. Four losses to divisional opponents cut them down to size, but they rebounded and barely scraped into the top of the AFC North at 10-6.

The 4 seed Ravens were matched against the 5 seed Raiders in the Wild Card. The Ravens forced a punt on the opening drive and kicked a field goal. A few possessions later, Raiders QB Patrick Allen threw the first TD of the game to Nolan Wilbur. The Ravens scored a passing TD of their own to Gordon Boyce at the end of the 2nd. The Ravens punted on the opening drive of the 2nd half, and the Raiders kicked a field goal. The Ravens responded with a TD run from DaQuon Wayne. Las Vegas kicked another field goal on the next possession. They forced a quick punt and scored on a Vernon Hooker rush. Baltimore kicked a field goal to tie the game. The Raiders scored a TD in the second quarter of overtime to take the game.

    Heroes of 2037:

Despite being 41, Lamar Jackson played well enough to win an eleventh MVP award. He had 4,813 yards and 43 TDs.

Tremayne Hearst put up 1,147 receiving yards and caught 13 TDs.

Junior Springs had his first 1,000+ yard season (1,122) and caught 12 TDs.

Paul Jackson had 5 TFLs and 13 sacks.

The entire defense had 17 picks in total.

    Pro Bowlers:

    Lamar Jackson (QB)

    Junior Springs (WR)

    Tremayne Hearst (WR)

    George Locke (WR)

    Ethan Robinson (LG)

    Antonio Baxter (RG)

    Caleb Henry (RT)

    Paul Jackson (DT)

    Emmett Felder (FS)

    Bryan Webb (P)

    2038

Ethan Robinson was resigned to a 3 year, 45.8 million dollar contract.

Tremayne Hearst was resigned to a 2 year, 25.5 million dollar contract.

Shawn Christmas was resigned to a 4 year, 46.4 million dollar contract.

Lamar Jackson was resigned to a 1 year, 20.3 million dollar contract.

Frank Taylor was resigned to a 2 year, 10.1 million dollar contract.

Lamar Ogletree was resigned to a 1 year, 5.87 million dollar contract.

Bryan Webb was resigned to a 1 year, 3.28 million dollar contract.

Jose Dawkins was resigned to a 1 year, 3.47 million dollar contract.

Gordon Boyce was resigned to a 4 year, 34.9 million dollar contract.

    Ethan Robinson was franchise tagged.

Tyler Newhouse (former Jaguars DT) was signed to a 3 year, 29.7 million dollar contract.

George Sherrod (former Bears WR) was signed to a 3 year, 29.1 million dollar contract.

Danny Fry (former Raiders and Bengals LOLB) was signed to a 3 year, 6.66 million dollar contract.

Malcolm Bayer (former Steelers and Texans QB) was signed to a 1 year, 4.82 million dollar contract.

Chase Kiernan (former Bengals and Texans K) was signed to a 1 year, 2.61 million dollar contract.

Picked up Dakota Clements' fifth year option.

    Retirements:

    Tremayne Hearst (WR)

    Lamar Jackson (QB)

    Draft:

Pick 1-21 - Andrew Briscoe (LOLB, Texas, 74 OVR)

Pick 2-21 - Marcell Sheldon (RB, North Dakota, 70 OVR)

Pick 3-21 - Emmett Leverette (TE, UCF, 72 OVR, Hidden)

Pick 4-21 - Joe Joseph (CB, Wake Forest, 68 OVR)

Pick 5-21 - Zack Harper (ROLB, Washington State, 68 OVR)

Pick 6-21 - Johnny Rose (FB, Kansas State, 67 OVR)

Pick 7-21 - Doug Coleman (WR, Georgia, 63 OVR)

After his retirement in the 2037 season, Lamar Jackson was hired to be the new QB coach. The team isn't likely to even make the playoffs with 39 year old band-aid Malcolm Bayer at QB and a big step down in receiver talent. In typical Ravens fashion, the strong points of the team are O-Line and Defense.

After unexpectedly going 5-3 to lead the AFC North at midseason, the Ravens would collapse in the back half, finishing with a 6-10 record.

    Heroes of 2038:

Brian Tyson put up almost 1,000 yards and caught 8 TDs.

    Pro Bowlers:

    Malcolm Bayer (QB)

    George Sherrod (WR)

    Ethan Robinson (LG)

    Antonio Baxter (C)

    Caleb Henry (RT)

    Shelton Dickerson (CB)

    2039

    Contract Updates:

Antonio Baxter was resigned to a 3 year, 33.1 million dollar contract.

Ethan Robinson was resigned to a 3 year, 44.3 million dollar contract.

Paul Jackson was resigned to a 2 year, 30.3 million dollar contract.

Greg Coleman was resigned to a 2 year, 14 million dollar contract.

Kendrick Norton was resigned to a 1 year, 3.17 million dollar contract.

Lamar Ogletree was resigned to a 1 year, 2.77 million dollar contract.

Chase Kiernan was resigned to a 2 year, 6.2 million dollar contract.

Jose Dawkins was resigned to a 1 year, 1.81 million dollar contract.

Vonn Sellers (former Chiefs LG) was signed to a 1 year, 11.2 million dollar contract.

    Retirements:

    Jose Dawkins (CB)

    Malcolm Bayer (QB)

    Lamar Ogletree (CB)

    Frank Taylor (ROLB)

    Draft:

Pick 1-4 - Jimmy McKnight (ROLB, Penn State, 74 OVR)

Pick 2-4 - Kirk McCloud (C, Ole Miss, 76 OVR)

Pick 3-4 - Antwaun Cosby (TE, Clemson, 73 OVR)

Pick 4-4 - Braxton Neal (DT, Ohio State, 72 OVR)

Pick 5-4 - Diontae Huffman (MLB, Air Force, 65 OVR)

Pick 6-4 - Eric Billups (RG, Wisconsin, 65 OVR)

Pick 7-4 - Ron Sharp (LT, Syracuse, 63 OVR)

With the retirement of Bayer, the 4th rounder out of Ohio State T.J. McQueen finally gets his chance to start before his rookie contract ends. With a lackluster offseason and an inexperienced quarterback, this season will be a real test of Lamar Jackson's capabilities as a coach.

The Ravens got off to a 2-5 record at midseason, but it doesn't seem to be McQueen's fault. McQueen was rated as a top ten QB in every passing stat at this time. The rest of the season wasn't much of an improvement, coming to a 4-12 record, worse than the previous year.

    Heroes of 2039:

Brian Tyson had 959 yards and 7 TDs.

George Sherrod put up 859 yards and caught 7 TDs.

Antonio Baxter played 1084 snaps without giving up a sack.

    Pro Bowlers:

    Ethan Robinson (LG)

    Antonio Baxter (C)

    Caleb Henry (RT)

    Byron Hix (CB)

    Shawn Christmas (FS)

[XB1] SND Recruiting Ahead of Off-Season/M22

    Posted: 23 Mar 2021 06:48 PM PDT

Our (XB1) league, SND, is openly recruiting users for season 4 and onward. I made our network of leagues shortly after taking ownership of the r/CFMmadden sub in M16, both of which share the same Discord server of 50+ members to help maintain a sense of community and continuity.

We are nearing the off-season, and after clearing some house, a few of the available teams are prepped to have great picks in the next draft and/or have very strong rosters.

Joining now would land you both a current team and priority queue for team selection in Madden 22! ALL skill levels are welcome - we do not care a bit!

This league consists of a strong core user base (many of which have been playing together since Madden 16). If you're looking for a stable Madden league, we are one to consider as we are entering our 7th year together.

We have a fully operational DL page, which is fully integrated into our Discord server with several useful bot commands.

    https://www.daddyleagues.com/snd21

The difficulty is set at All-Pro (w/ sliders), 7 minute Qs, 25 accel clock, and NO CUSTOM PLAY BOOKS. Advance is every 48 hours. We are looking for good owners that play sim style and know how to act and be respectful and friendly within the league. Immature behavior/name-calling/offensive comments are NOT tolerated.

We use Discord for scheduling purposes, so it is mandatory that you have the app and use it consistently to schedule games with your opponent each week. Streaming games on Mixer/Twitch is necessary.

Comment or PM me if interested in any of these open teams:

    Check out more here: https://www.daddyleagues.com/snd21

    Thank you!

Sorry for the horrible recording, but for context there was one second left in the game and the other player was kicking off from scoring a touchdown to make it 38-36 in their favor. Tried to squib it on me to kill the last second but it ain’t over til it’s over.

    A suggestion for madden franchise

    Posted: 23 Mar 2021 04:25 PM PDT

Let us be able to restructure contracts. I'm tired of having to accept that I only have around 100k in cap space when I have a decent team that only needs one more position upgrade to be able to compete.
