    Retirements:

    Kenny Lange (LT)

    Antonio Baxter (C)

    Shawn Christmas (FS)

    Don Martindale (HC)

    Draft:

Pick 1-16 - Harold Holmes (FS, Iowa State, 73 OVR, Hidden)

Pick 6-16 - DaVonte Hardesty (FB, West Virginia, 69 OVR)

Pick 7-16 - Gregory Lewis (FS, Ole Miss, 65 OVR)

After a series of disappointing seasons, Martindale retires at the ripe old age of 82. He will be succeeded by Lamar Jackson as head coach of the Baltimore Ravens. As an offensive mind, he wants to make Leo Garrison a champion while also keeping Martindale's defensive unit together.

By midseason, the Ravens had a top ten offense that brought them to a 4-3 record. Under a brand new HC, they swept the division and took the 1 seed at 12-4.

In the Divisional Round, the Ravens came against the 9-7 Jaguars. The Ravens opened the game with a field goal. The Jaguars kicked a field goal of their own. They followed up with a Mike Bennett TD pass to Justin Snead. The Ravens finally scored a TD of their own with Emmett Leverette. Baltimore's DeVonte Hardesty scored the first TD of the second half. The Ravens brought it to a 10 point lead with a field goal. The Jags kicked a field goal in response. Will Lawson scored one last TD to put the game away for the Ravens 27-13.

The AFC Championship was against the Houston Texans. The Texans' opening drive resulted in a Glenn Simon TD. The Ravens responded with a field goal. They take the lead in the second quarter with a Jalen Anderson TD. The Texans take it back with a 65 yard TD pass to Tim Landry. Houston scores the first TD of the second half with a pass to Ralph Jefferson. The Ravens add 3 with a field goal, and so do the Texans. Baltimore brings it within a possession with another Jalen Anderson TD and gets the 2 point conversion. The Texans run the clock out to win 24-21.

    Heroes of 2045:

Leo Garrison passed for 4,479 yards and 35 TDs.

Deionte Matthews won best WR with 1,197 yards and 14 TDs.

Devante Bonner was resigned to a 5 year, 67.7 million dollar contract.

Danny Fry was resigned to a 1 year, 750 thousand dollar contract.

Victor Delgado (former Chiefs LOLB) was signed to a 2 year, 10.9 million dollar contract.

    Retirements:

    Allen Griffith (C)

    Dakota Clements (SS)

    Ramon Thompson (RE)

    Draft:

Pick 1-29 - Zhaire Hitchens (SS, Alabama, 75 OVR)

Pick 2-29 - Lance Thompson (LE, Boise State, 76 OVR)

Pick 3-29 - Eddie Flannery (ROLB, Penn State, 66 OVR)

Pick 4-29 - Steve Ortiz (QB, Texas Tech, 61 OVR)

Pick 5-29 - Zach Baptiste (HB, Columbia, 69 OVR)

Pick 6-29 - Tavarius Paul (LG, Colorado State, 56 OVR)

Pick 7-29 - Alexander Tull (CB, Virginia Tech, 63 OVR)

After a heartbreaking loss in the AFC Championship, Lamar Jackson and the Ravens intend to win a ring this year before they have to pay Garrison big money, and the defense gets too old.

The Ravens came into the midseason 7-1 and leading the AFC North by far. They went on to lose only two more games and finish 13-3 for the 1 seed in the AFC.

The Jaguars get their chance to get revenge on the Ravens for the last divisional round matchup. The Jaguars started with the ball and scored on the opening drive with Tahj Beckum. The Ravens retaliated with an Emmett Leverette TD. Chase Elliott scored the Ravens another TD in the second quarter. The Jaguars scored with a TD pass to Damon McCloud with one minute left in the half. A Leo Garrison interception led the Jaguars to take the lead with a Dakota Kramer TD. In the second half, Byron Hix intercepted the ball to get a Jawuan Jones TD. Jacksonville fired back with another Tahj Beckum TD. They followed it up with a third TD for Beckum. Baltimore brought it back within one possession with a Quincy Slay TD. With 1:20 remaining and no timeouts, Leo Garrison led a surgical drive, capped off with a game-tying TD pass to Quincy Slay. The Jaguars used good clock management to kick a game winning field goal in the last second.

    Heroes of 2046:

Leo Garrison missed out on an MVP award by 30 yards (Chip Townsend had 30 more Passing yards and the same amount of TDs.) He had 4,660 yards and 42 TDs.

Deionte Matthews won best WR again with 1,687 yards and 16 TDs.

    Timmy Boykin had 4 interceptions.

    Pro Bowler:

    Leo Garrison (QB)

    Deionte Matthews (WR)

    Emmett Leverette (TE)

    Ethan Robinson (LG)

    Ted Bennett (LG)

    Joe Kern (C)

    Scott Burris (RT)

    Derrick Clayton (MLB)

    Timmy Boykin (FS)

    2047

    Contract Updates:

Leo Garrison was resigned to a 6 year, 220 million dollar contract.

Ethan Robinson was resigned to a 1 year, 14.8 million dollar contract.

Timmy Boykin was resigned to a 4 year, 44.8 million dollar contract.

Byron Hix was resigned to a 1 year, 12.2 million dollar contract.

Roman Fields was resigned to a 2 year, 16.1 million dollar contract.

Danny Fry was resigned to a 1 year, 750 thousand dollar contract.

    Shelton Dickerson was franchise tagged.

Jake Tiller (former Football Team LT) was signed to a 4 year, 67.7 million dollar contract.

Dashaun Perriman (former Rams LG) was signed to a 1 year, 6.2 million dollar contract.

Picked up Matthew Kindley's fifth year option.

    Retirements:

    Tyson McCain (K)

    Ethan Robinson (LG)

    Byron Hix (CB)

    Draft:

Pick 1-28 - Glenn Jeffries (LE, Iowa, 75 OVR, Hidden)

Pick 2-28 - Karl Allen (WR, Auburn, 77 OVR)

Pick 3-28 - Keshawn Booker (TE, Clemson, 75 OVR, Hidden)

Pick 4-28 - George Weston (CB, UCLA, 69 OVR)

    Pick 5-28 - C.J. Rivers (DT, Florida, 73 OVR)

Pick 6-28 - Sheldon Carrol (FS, Montana, 66 OVR)

Pick 7-28 - Mitchell Smith (WR, UAB, 67 OVR)

Starting in the 2047 season, Leo Garrison is the highest paid quarterback in the NFL, and it's up to him to prove that he's worth the money by winning a Super Bowl. The Offensive line took a huge hit with the retirement of Ethan Robinson, but Dashaun Perriman is expected to step up into the role.

The team tripped over themselves out of the preseason with devastating injuries to Ted Bennett and Harold Holmes, leading to a 4-3 record at midseason. Despite even more injuries to Corner, Running back and Tackle, the Ravens made a late season push and missed the playoffs anyway at 8-8.

    Heroes of 2047:

En Route to an OPOY award, Leo Garrison threw for 3,887 yards and 34 TDs, despite taking 46 sacks.

OROY Karl Allen put up a 1,000 yard season along with 11 TDs.

Thomas Hackett had 12 TFLs, 2 sacks and 4 interceptions.

    Pro Bowlers:

    Cecil Miller (WR)

    Joe Kern (C)

    Derrick Clayton (MLB)

    2048

    Contract Updates:

Deionte Matthews was resigned to a 5 year, 119 million dollar contract.

Shelton Dickerson was resigned to a 1 year, 12.5 million dollar contract.

Ted Bennett was resigned to a 3 year, 36.1 million dollar contract.

Victor Delgado was resigned to a 2 year, 7.04 million dollar contract.

Scott Burris was resigned to a 2 year, 25.5 million dollar contract.

Dashaun Perriman was resigned to a 1 year, 5.88 million dollar contract.

Peter Windsor was resigned to a 1 year, 1.77 million dollar contract.

Picked up Harold Holmes' fifth year option.

    Retirements:

    Danny Fry (LOLB)

    Draft:

Pick 1-17 - Tavarius Sharp (HB, USF, 76 OVR)

Pick 2-17 - Damarr Johnson (CB, Penn State, 70 OVR, Hidden)

Pick 3-17 - DeMarcus Pamphile (RE, Missouri, 71 OVR)

Pick 4-17 - DaVonte Ward (FS, Northern Iowa, 67 OVR)

Pick 5-17 - Amir Still (SS, App State, 65 OVR)

Pick 6-17 - Larry Tatum (LT, Penn State, 65 OVR)

Pick 7-17 - Marquise Pinkston (MLB, Yale, 63 OVR)

After the disappointment that was last year's injury plagued season, the Ravens are rested and ready to bounce back with a playoff run in 2048. Out of the new rookie class, the only rookie who started would be Tavarius Sharp, but Jackson plans to work with Damarr Johnson so he'll be ready to take over for Shelton Dickerson.

Their revenge tour didn't start as they'd hoped, as they came into the midseason point at a mediocre 4-4. They wouldn't be the Ravens if they didn't have a midseason losing streak and then scrape into the playoffs at the last second, which this team did at 9-7.

The Ravens face the Raiders in the Wild Card round. The Ravens intercepted the Raiders on their opening drive, following it up with a Karl Allen TD. Vegas fought back with a field goal. On the very next drive, the Ravens RB Zach Baptiste rushed for a TD. The Raiders were intercepted on their next drive, which turned into a second Zach Baptiste TD. The Ravens then extended their lead to 25 points before halftime with a Cecil Miller TD. Baltimore scored the first points of the second half, kicking a field goal. The Raiders then scored their first TD of the game with a Ron Galloway pass to Marco Galindo. Baltimore answered by piling on another Karl Allen TD for a final score of 38-10.

After annihilating the Raiders, the Ravens were the favorites to take on the Diablos. In a defensive game, the Diablos scored the first points at the end of the first quarter by kicking a field goal. After intercepting Garrison, the Diablos scored a TD to Rahim Cummings. Before halftime, Mexico City scored another TD to Rahim Cummings. With a quick drive, Leo Garrison threw a TD pass to Karl Allen (who was injured on the play) to bring the game within two possessions at halftime. To end the third quarter, the Diablos kicked another field goal to go up 20-7. In a drive with two 4th down conversions, Baltimore brought the game within one score with a Tavarius Sharp TD. What looked like a promising drive took a heartbreaking turn as Garrison threw an interception that led to a field goal that looked to put the game away for the Diablos. The Ravens quickly recovered with a Mitchell Smith TD to make the score 21-23. They attempted an onside kick was recovered by the Diablos, who kneeled for the win.

    Heroes of 2048:

Leo Garrison passed for 4,316 yards and 39 TDs en route to another OPOY award.

Second year receiver Karl Allen improved on his rookie year with 1,093 yards and 13 TDs.

DeVante Bonner won Best LB with 13 TFLs, 13 sacks and an interception.

    Pro Bowlers:

    Leo Garrison (QB)

    Karl Allen (WR)

    Emmett Leverette (TE)

    Joe Kern (C)

    DeVante Bonner (ROLB)

    Shelton Dickerson (CB)

    2049

    Contract Update:

Derrick Clayton was resigned to a 3 year, 42.3 million dollar contract.

Matthew Kindley was resigned to a 3 year, 38.3 million dollar contract.

Roman Fields was resigned to a 2 year, 17.3 million dollar contract.

Shelton Dickerson was resigned to a 1 year, 6.82 million dollar contract.

Peter Windsor was resigned to a 1 year, 1.79 million dollar contract.

    Retirements:

    Shelton Dickerson (CB)

    Draft:

Pick 1-26 - Tevin Andrews (RT, Ole Miss, 71 OVR, Hidden)

Pick 2-26 - Hugh Polk (RT, Texas A&M, 70 OVR)

Pick 3-26 - Eddie Bush (CB, TCU, 68 OVR)

Pick 4-26 - Jerry Morgan (TE, Kent State, 66 OVR)

Pick 5-26 - Stefon Duncan (DT, Virginia, 67 OVR, Hidden)

Pick 6-26 - Bruce Haskins (LE, Arkansas, 65 OVR)

Pick 7-26 - Zach Stewart (QB, USC, 61 OVR)

After his game losing interception, Leo Garrison has gotten endless flak from the media and has become the butt of many jokes. He and Coach Jackson plan to redeem him with a Super Bowl ring.

The team started dreadfully, going 0-3, but they brought it back to a 4-3 record by midseason. They continued into an 8 game streak, only losing two games in the second half of the season to make the playoffs at 11-5.

The Ravens came up against their long time rivals, the Browns, in the Wild Card round. The Ravens scored on a Tavarius Sharp TD run. They forced a turnover and kicked a field goal. Then Baltimore forced a punt and scored a Brandon Brown TD. The Browns pulled themselves together enough for a Randy Banks TD. On the next Cleveland drive, Zhaire Hitchens intercepted the ball, leading to a Karl Allen TD. They then put together another TD drive, this time to Deionte Matthews, right before the half for a score of 31-7. Baltimore scored the first points of the second half by kicking a field goal. They then unnecessarily scored on another Tavaris Sharp rush for a final score of 41-7.

They next came up against the Colts: leaders of the AFC South. The Ravens once again scored on their opening drive, this time with a field goal. In a matchup between two top-tier defenses, the next score came near the end of the second with a James Manning TD for the Colts. The Ravens forced the Colts to punt on the opening drive of the second half, and kicked a field goal. The Colts immediately retaliated with a TD to Jahlil Stark. The Colts then kicked a field goal with 2 minutes left, putting the game well out of reach for the Ravens. Baltimore tried anyway, scoring on a Steve Ortiz pass to Karl Allen followed by a 2 Pt conversion. The Colts kneeled the ball to end the game 17-14.

So uh… it wasn't really the ending I was looking for. After I watched them decimate both the Raiders and the Browns in the WC, I thought the Ravens were going to go all the way both times. I feel a bit of pity for Leo Garrison (despite him not being a real person). He was robbed of several MVP awards by Cardinals QB Chip Townsend (who only had 3 MVPs, all late in his career, and all with Garrison at a close second.) Leo was also denied the chance to finish the rebuild in the ultimate way by winning the last Super Bowl because he tore his labrum against the Colts, leaving 69 overall Steve Ortiz, who had yet to eclipse 20 passes, to nearly clutch the game. I can only hope that my 99 overall X-Factor QB gets the ring he deserves someday.

Here is an imgur album of my season recaps if anyone is interested.

    Heroes of 2049:

Garrison won another OPOY award with a statline of 4,122 yards and 34 TDs.

DeVante Bonner put up 7 TFLs and 13.5 sacks.

Lance Thompson had 4 TFLs, 11.5 sacks and an interception.

    Pro Bowlers:

    Leo Garrison (QB)

    Keshawn Booker (TE)

    Jake Tiller (LT)

    Ted Bennett (LG)

    Scott Burris (RT)

    DeVante Bonner (ROLB)

    Damarr Johnson (CB)

Can you copy or use a roster from Madden 19 in Madden 20?

    Posted: 21 Apr 2021 11:19 PM PDT

The Madden 21 trailer highlighted celebrations, yet they couldn’t even get THOSE right!

    Posted: 21 Apr 2021 03:22 PM PDT

-Every celebration should involve teammates. Nobody just dances while his teammates walk off the field like nothing happened

-Team celebrations don't have to be stupid. I saw one where guys were just high fiving and slapping helmets. ONCE. Last year.

-There's an extremely long list of celebrations that belong to certain players, as well as the stock ones. Did you know Eli has one? At least let our 'The Yard' player pick one for his signature. Or custom players in franchise.

-Why does the CPU get special teammate celebrations that users aren't allowed to do?

-Spikes need to be more aggressive. Shaking your butt and lightly dropping the ball is not a spike!

-Why the hell do players circle back to the 5 yard line after a touchdown like in Madden 25? Who does that?

-How about a stoic/skip celebration? I know Ochocinco has a lot of input in this game, but what about guys like Barry Sanders? Not to mention a lot of power backs like Derrick Henry and Nick Chubb don't ever dance.

-Swagger celebrations was supposed to be where you steal an opposing players' signature. Whatever happened to that?

-Swagger celebrations are literally a replacement for team celebrations in certain situations

-Like after a pick 6. If a defense scores, nearly everyone on the team should start to party.

-Wtf is solidarity supposed to be? Statue of Liberty? Faux players can't spike it?

-When down multiple scores, players need to keep any and all celebrations in their pocket.

-Jerk. Whip. Dab. Stanky Leg. These dances were old before they were old.

-If a QB tosses you aside and your teammate sacks him, you have no right to celebrate....anything. It's disgraceful to call it a half sack for each defender.

-After a game winning score or FG, the whole team should be going nuts...not walking back to the sideline.
