    Dear /r/Madden...

    I have a confession to make. You see, despite playing Madden for "fun" and "I don't care if I win or lose" I have found myself in puddles of sweat after a few games of H2H regs. My shitbucket overfloweth. I guess you could say this was inevitable, that I would begin to care about my H2H record. After over 350 games played. I guess you could say that of course I would find myself doing meta shit on defense "because offenses are impossible to stop". I guess you could say that I have an obsession with this game. My saving grace is my own system and scheme on offense and I actively avoid the youtube plays ( I made a long post about that)

    Today, I crossed the 350+ game mark. I win more than I lose. Yes, I am horribly, terribly sweaty. I look up my most recent's ranking and grin if they were higher ranked than me. I record (what I think are) particularly cool or fun gameplay moments and share them on youtube. I spend hours every year making the playbook that I will run for the whole season, sharing it across multiple websites.

    Basically, somehow I played myself. I've become what I hated. A toxic sweatlord. A casual who won't ever make it pro, but enjoys beating kids in regs.

    Who else among you is a sweatlord? What is some sweaty shit you've done for the win? Ill start the list.

    1. I actually have a semi-script that I use to start every game so I can see how an opponent matches up against various looks (12 Bal/Unbal, 13P, 11P) and how they react to certain plays (jet, RPOs)

    2. I'll clock someone at the end of the first no questions. I love a 12 play drive that eats 4:30 off the clock.

    3. Ill sub SS/FS in as LBers in nickle or dime looks.

    4. I'll quicksnap if I think I can get away with a cheesy bomb (PA Verts Comeback VS man all day)

      5. I'll run the damn ball until you get figure it out (not really cheese but I get a lot of hate mail for running the rock)

    What cheese stuff do y'all see online? What drives you insane?

    I've played over 20 online games over the past couple days, i matched with someone yesterday (would post username but against forum rules) , was up by 10, game desynced, today i matched with the same guy randomly, happened again when I was up. It's suspicious since it's the same user and the only times ive ever desynced in this year. Hmmm....can people knock off the game on purpose? seems so suspicious.

    Tips for punt/kick returns? Maxing out KR skill seems to have no effect. Any specific builds or skills that are beneficial? (Besides Human Joystick, etc)

    Week 4 of the True True Story: Coach Cam McTudderson & The Pittsburgh Steelers

    The trades have been made - a LT in Tyron Smith and a LG in Joe Thuney; but the 3rd trade proved to be the most crucial of them all: Kyler Murray.

    Coming off of an absolute beating of 27-0 in Week 3, delivered by Deshaun Watson and the Texans, Coach knew he had to do something dramatic in order to save the already spiraling season.

    The Steelers gave up their 2021 First Round Draft Pick and developing QB Dwayne Haskins for the former 1st overall pick. It seems as though the Steelers had won that deal by a mile.

    Game planning for the Tennessee Titans this week was different than other weeks - Coach McTudderson finally had a competent Quarterback at throwing but is also highly dangerous when mobile.

    Was this the move that would finally propel Coach McTudderson to his first win & unlock his Coaching prowess in the MDFL?

    Heading into the weekly presser, Coach McTudderson was extremely confident in his new QB, as he has seemed to be every week prior. One reporter, Larry McDingleberry, who is known as one of the more aggressive reporters and now that Coach was 0-3, he decided it was time to create a potential hot seat on Coach McTudderson.

    Although this was the first time Coach had been put in this situation by the press in his career, he handled it well and did not lose focus on the task at hand: Beating the Tennessee Titans.

    The game was neck and neck through its entirety. Between stuffing Derrick Henry for a total of only 77 yards and forcing a few turnovers against Ryan Tannehill, the defense was again giving the offense a chance to thrive.

    In past weeks, the offense would fall flat, but with Kyler Murray at the helm, they produced their best game of the season thus far.

    With the offense and defense seeming to be clicking for the first time together, it was beginning to look like Coach would secure his first win - but the road to that win was not as straight as it had seemed late in the 4th quarter and Coach McTudderson needed his Quarterback to finally have a clutch gene to secure the win.

    Will Coach McTudderson come away with his first MDFL win against Passing Leader Ryan Tannehill & the Tennessee Titans or will the celebration be put on hold for another week?

    Help with Madden 08 Superstar

    Right now I'm playing Madden 08 Superstar Mode as a fullback yet every time I play a game I'm usering the QB if I'm not on the field. I'm also playing on defense as well. Is there a way to skip the parts where my fullback isn't on the field and only play as the FB?

    HB Legacy Scores? (Madden 18 Franchise)

    For Madden 18 franchise: How does the legacy thing work for HB? I've broken every single possible record (including the receiving ones), gotten MVP/OPOY/Best HB/Pro Bowl every year I've been in the league, have 5 super bowls, and play on all-madden (accomplished in 6 years). Yet, my cumulative legacy is 4000, well below the ~10000 of my star teammates. I've noticed that the super bowl wins give my teammates 1050 legacy every year, but I do not get any such boosts. I feel like this is position-specific, as when I played as a qb in franchise, I got 14000 legacy in the same amount of time.
    Please help.
