    Franchise mode. Just had a frustrated receiver scenario with Stefon Diggs. I should stop here and point out that through my first 8 games, Diggs had 62 catches for 670 yards and 5 TDs. On pace for a YUGE year.

    In the 9th game, he gets hurt on the first drive. Out for game. He had 2 catches for 30 yards on that drive. Clearly very involved in the gamelan.

    Going into the next week I get a text from Stefon about how frustrated he was with his numbers last week. No mention of the injury. No mention of the monster year he's having. I, like the bitch I am, promise to get him involved. +10 morale boost. Yay. As long as I get him 5+ touches or 100+ yards he'll be happy. With a receiver of his caliber, that's automatic.

    Unless he gets hurt on the first drive for the 2nd week in a row. So he left that game in the first drive having 2 catches for 26 yards.

    So then I get a text from Diggs about how frustrated he was with not being involved with the gameplan. And a -20 drop on his morale.

    FUCKING DO BETTER EA. This is insulting. Injuries happen, that's fine. Sometimes you have really bad luck. I'm even okay with the morale drop. A receiver who's having a big year would be frustrated by being held back by injuries. But can we have some FUCKING REALISM, please? I saw another story from a user about a receiver asking for more touches, only to drop 3 critical passes in a loss. As you'd imagine, that receiver had the same generic message about how he was disappointed not to be in the gamelan. No mention of the drops.

    I play on all-madden. As you know, that requires swallowing A LOT of bullshit that the computer gets away with that we can't. But there's something extra insulting when it feels like the developers aren't even trying.
