    I just downloaded Madden 20 through EA access and I would like to know which game mode is the best, or at least the most popular.

    I've never played an NFL game before, so I've got no clue where to start.

    All - Pro Vs Pro

    Being somewhat of a Madden novice (PES has usually been my go to, but my lord it's insufferable this year) and having won back to back Superbowls with the Browns on Pro, why on earth is there such a void between Pro and All-Pro??

    I understand the majority will probably be playing on All - Madden but I think All - Pro is my technical ceiling.

    Whether it was just because the Steelers are genuinely horrible to play against but the rise in difficulty just seems like an increase in unfairness.

    May try with Matt10s sliders adopted but almost feel defeated and potentially slinking back to Pro in order to get some form of enjoyment.

    Probably doesn't help that I'm playing with a friend via shareplay.

    Thoughts?

    I am searching to join a new madden league, here is a basis for the type of criteria I'm looking for.

    • All-Madden • Sim-Style rules for gameplay and roster management • superstar abilities (preferred to have them on) • Discord app for league chat (preferred) • daddyleagues site (preferred or something similar) • it doesn't matter to me much which season the league is in currently. A league with a history of operating well is a bonus • Teams available: I'm not too picky, but these are the teams I would most prefer... - Packers, 49ers, Patriots, Panthers, browns - if it's fantasy roster then doesn't matter. • if the league is past week 9 and an available team is out of playoff contention, I don't mind using that team. A team with a playoff chance is a preferred though.

    Please DM me if you have a league like this and are looking for a new member. I'm a decent player, I'm able to stream my games, I'll play my games before the deadlines, I'm fairly active in chat (I'm not on all the time but I'm not a ghost either), and I would love to be apart of a good league. I would like to view the rosters of available teams in a prospective league before committing to it as well.

    The EA you're going to lose this game game

    I really wouldn't mind the games that you lose if the losing was fair but it's not. Just lost a game to the Orlando Wizards where their receivers were open by 5+ yards every play (every single secondary player on my team is 87+). Jameis Winston kept hitting PA passes where he would whip out of the fake and throw a dart to a guy he shouldn't have been able to know was open at that moment as his back had been turned to him prior to that. It's just infuriating that the losses can't be fair, they have to be the cheesing kind that pisses you off as you slog towards your inevitable demise.

    Superstar KO was a fun idea. I was glad when I first heard about it. It seemed like a creative game mode and I especially loved the fact that other people besides NFL players would be joining it. A dun, arcade like madden mode? What could be the problem with that?

    I waited until March to buy Madden 20. I was pretty fine with Madden 19, it wasn't the best sure but I liked it more than 18 or 17. It was a decent game, but when Madden dropped to 20 bucks I decided what the hell and bought it.

    I was SHOCKED to find out that X Factors were in franchise mode. I really thought it was only a Superstar KO thing. I tried to give it a chance, but I was never able to forgive it.

    X Factors in franchise is the worst thing to ever happen to it. Some bad things have taken place, but it takes the cake. First things first, it replaces actual dev traits. If you want a player to progress fast, guess what now they have to have some huge ability. It's stupid I can't make a rookie with the top development anymore because then they'd be unstoppable.

    Secondly, it makes the game play stupid. Von Miller is good don't get me wrong, but in a franchise mode I shouldn't have to double team him every play to get 2 seconds of time. I shouldn't have to double team julio every play to not let up an 80 yard touchdown. This isn't football. This isn't fun to play. We've had some really bad gameplay before (looking at you madden 18) but this isn't just boring or one play cheesy, this is completely unplayable gameplay. It's completely unrealistic and ridiculous.

    Lastly, it ruins any trying to build up your team through the draft. It turns trying to make a good team into collecting pokemons with different abilities. The trading logic in this game is already worse than previous maddens, so to add on top of that these weird abilities makes it even worse. If I wanted to play pokemon I would by Sword and Shield. I want hard core dick in the ass butterball foosball fuck it chuck it real football.

    I really REALLY hope this isn't in madden 21. There doesn't seem to be as much backlash as I thought there would be, so they might keep it. I won't but madden 21 if it's like this, even if I get it on sale like I did this time. Franchise is ruined for me, I'm actually going back to madden 19. I seriously can't play this franchise. Only Superstar KO in madden 20 is fun. If you disagree with me lmk why, I just can't do this anymore.
