    CFM: Improving Free Agency Negotiations

    So with the news of Patrick Mahomes' mega-deal, Madden will be forced to include 10-year deals and exponentially raise their salary limits. This got me thinking of an entirely new way to approach deals in future Madden games:

    • Step 1: Initial Proposals
      • In this step, you'd pick the target free agent and make your general offer including total money and years of the deal. If the free agent likes those general terms along with your market, scheme, etc. you'd move on to the next step.
    • Step 2: Details
      • In this part of negotiations, you'd iron out performance/award incentive goals, salary % of deal, bonus % of deal, and a no trade clause option.
    • Step 3: Initial Offer
      • In this part, the game would automatically generate three structure types based on the negotiation details so far: front-loaded, back-loaded, or fully guaranteed. You'd select the option that best fits your team situation and send it to the free agent.
    • Step 4: Final Offer
      • After the player evaluates your offer along with other potential offers, based on their interest level you'd receive feedback on any changes needed to secure the player. This could be a higher % of salary vs bonus, a different structure type, or the desire for a no trade clause.

    Madden 11 - Who is marking my WRs?

    Hello,

    No, you haven't entered a time warp. I still have an old console (360) and thought it was about time I picked up a Madden game. Madden 11 was practically free on eBay, so I thought, "why not."

    One question though, when I am in Franchise mode, and playing a game, can I see the opposition line up? Can I see who is marking my WRs? Or do I need to go through the opposition roster before I start the game and try and work it out that way?

    Has anyone experienced this glitch when looking at stats in franchise mode?

    In Franchise mode, I'm looking at player stats for my team, then looking at the player stats for the whole NFL. When I look at Khalil Mack's stats just on my team, he has 8 sacks, but when I look at overall stats in the whole NFL to see where he is at in the leaderboard for the season he's not even on the list? Wtf Madden, this seems like such a simple thing to get right. Pretty annoying.
