    I finally got around to updating this file thanks to a couple of reddit members who reached out to me and helped me out by giving me the new excel export files since I'm still on Madden 20 lol. I hope more people can enjoy it this time around. Thanks again u/beliboy32 & u/rufowler!

    A dashboard of current league standings.

    My Team tab to keep track of your roster and cap space. The idea is to see what position you will need to look for/draft. I've also included the \"NY Cap Penalty\" which calculates your cap penalty for the next year if you cut/trade the player.

    Tab for each position so you can focus on the important stat/traits. I like to use the stat heatmap to find young players with great intangible stats and the perfect candidate to develop. It's also a good way to find players with plenty of years left in their contract.

    Trade ideas tab where I paste possible players I'd want to trade for.

    It's easy to set-up but you do need to have the madden 20 companion app and Microsoft 2013 or later because enabling powerpivot and power query function is required.

    Steps:

    • Export Franchise Data from the companion app at this website: https://maddenexporter.herokuapp.com/
    • Download the player's and team's CSV file and put it in any folder on your computer.
    • Download the excel file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bCeOqqDp3E0WfcHBL65DhbcEMhCfwSnV/view?usp=sharing
    • From the excel file, go to the Data ribbon -> Queries and Connection -> Right-click "players" from the right-hand corner -> edit -> under the applied steps, scroll all the way up to "source" then click the cogwheel icon -> replace the current file path to wherever your players CSV file is saved.
    • Use the same steps as above but instead, redirect the source to the team's CSV file.
    • Close & Save the query editor.
    • Go back to the Data ribbon and refresh all. Everything should re-populate with your franchise data.

    You only have to do all of that once. Moving forward, simply over-write the CSV with the latest data and refresh.

    Reminds me of when Microsoft first made the windows tiles . The fact you have to load backing out of settings is ridiculous.. and everything you back out needs to load why ? Who's stupid idea was this

    QB Slide Madden 21

    Sorry if this has been posted before With the new Madden 21 Update on 22 September you now have to Double Tap X on Xbox to Slide with QB or any other player.

    I had been sliding with my QB no problem because as you know if you QB has a finger laid on them rushing the ball they will fumble it, so you have to slide but since the update my QB would always Dive and that would result in a fumble, but have now found out you have to double tap dive button to slide now

    This is annoying and also on the controls there is no information about this and I had to search to find out this information.

    Now that I know what to do hopefully I won't have to many fumbles, hope this helps some people.

    Anyone else having issues with receivers just choosing not to catch easy balls on accurate throws or throws with no pressure being thrown to the wrong location and getting picked off for no good reason? Its almost like it lags for a split second. Happens all the time to me on crossers out routes.

    Can we please talk about how ungodly unrealistic All Madden diffculty is? Like fr? Opposing qbs throw in less than 2 seconds and never miss. They can cross the field in less than 30 seconds with ease and their running backs crank out 5 yards a play. Its bs and i get its to be hard but should this game not first and foremost try to live up to its namesake of being a FOOTBALL SIM?

    It honestly feels like the ai is cheating 80 percent of the time. CBs warp at mock speed to pick off passes. Linebackers in zone INSTANTANEOUSLY react to the run. Its pure bs.

    Lastly wtf is with the difficulty scaling? Easy can be played blindfolded. Pro is fun to screw around with little to no consequence from playing risky. All Pro offers a decent challenge but in the end most games are won with little drama by the end. All Madden is straight up bs with a cpu that cheats, youre own ai are straight up stupid, and i always have to go ball control offense just to hopefully win.

    It feels like and has always felt like to me there should be a difficulty between All Pro and All Madden. One that maintains realism but offers more challenge than All Pro.

    Any thoughts? I know this is long and before you tell me to get better at the game, that isnt the point. The final point is All Madden plays entirely unrealistic despite claiming to be sim. I never claim be great but my friend and i are both in consensus on this and I wanted outside opinions.

    All madden is the worst game difficulty I've seen in a sports game. They don't make the game harder by having the AI's using actual strategy and teamwork, they make the game harder by handicapping all your players and make them play like they've never played football before. Blocking is absolutely dreadful, if you're up against any x-factor on the d-line, good luck not giving up 6 sacks regardless of how good your o-line is, even if you double team. The quarterback will throw into their lineman, 5'10' corners that are below a 75 OVR will snag on Julio Jones or Kenny Golladay, defensive players will just not jump for the ball, etc. It's terrible to play. I hate that in 2020, we still don't have an up-to-date football game that is actually about playing real football.
