Madden 21 is probably the worst installment in recent years but there hasn't been any that I have really enjoyed since madden 12, and that is because that's the last madden to have a deep franchise mode. EA needs to understand that us fans that have been with them since our childhoods played it because we loved being the GM of our favorite team in franchise mode. We need a lot more customization, better trade logic so you can't just sign someone rated in the 70's as a FA and then trade him for a 4th round pick and stockpile picks. We need them to stop adding boring story modes like FOTF and trying to use that as a selling point...if EA no longer cares about the sport of football then The NFL needs to give the exclusive license to another company! Maybe 2k? EA is going to be under tremendous heat to improve their game and give us what we want. I know they see everyone's posts and complaints, and as a lifelong madden player that skipped this game because I'm sick of being disappointed, I thank you all [link] [comments] | ||

There are so many things that need to be added, but there's on thing that NEEDS TO BE FIXED. For those who don't know, in franchise, if you use a default draft class, the rookies faces always look different in the picture and on the field. It's an absolute KILLER for immersion in a franchise. I can't even grow an attachment to my rookie because they don't look like the players I drafted. And the worst part is, even if I go to edit their faces manually (which takes way too long), most of the pictured faces aren't even an option to choose from. Another RIDICULOUS thing I've noticed is that EA USES FACES FROM NCAA 14 in their current draft classes... Like how lazy can you be???? Please EA, I know you don't want to put resources into franchise, but god damn just fix the simple things like this. Rant over.
