Towards the end of the 3rd quarter, the Jets led 34-7, however, the Dolphins would attempt a massive comeback. They scored a touchdown as the third quarter winded down, and scored two more as regulation drew close to the final seconds. Unfortunately, out of the three onside kick attempts by the Dolphins, none were recovered by them. The clock ran out, and the Jets beat the Dolphins 34-28. Passing Clemens (Jets) 11/12, 204 yds, 1TD. | Week 2 Recap: Dolphins at Cards Posted: 01 Aug 2021 08:13 PM PDT We're in the Dome in Arizona, and it's looking like a tough road ahead. The Dolphins tie it in the 4th, with help from a Ted Ginn Kickoff TD return, 24-24. But it quickly went downhill from there for Mr. Firesale, as the flood gates opened. The Cardinals quickly answered with back to back unanswered touchdowns, making it 38-24. The Dolphins drive down to the red zone in the final two minutes, looking to launch a comeback. Jacobs throws it to the sideline, and it's intercepted by rookie Calais Campbell, and returned for 90+ yards. That would be the ultimate nail in the coffin, the game ends 45-24. Dolphins fall to 0-2, Cardinals up to 2-0. Passing K. Warner (Cards) 22/28, 327 yds, 4TDs, sacked 1 time. O. Jacobs ('Phins) 16/27, 205 yds, 1 INT, sacked 9 times. Rushing E. | Took Trevor Lawrence at 1, won a SB. Hell yeah Posted: 01 Aug 2021 06:24 AM PDT Playing year two franchise as Patriots. Traded high picks and high OVR defense players in year one for LeVeon Bell, OBJ and Gronk. Went 7-9. Traded up for TLaw. Took him. Went 12-4, won SB. TLaw won in his Rookie year, MVP, Rookie Of The Year, Offensive Player Of The Year, SB and SB MVP. I'm playing on Pro, and very well improved from my 7-9. Before that, i won like 1 in 5 games. Trevor had like 4100+ yards, 37 TD, 29 i think INTs and 40ish completions %, plus 1000+ rushing yards and 6-ish rush TDs. So i clearly need to improve and not throw so much interceptions. But still, a win is a win. In the offseason JJ Watt told me to take a hike, i signed a 98 OVR CB (for a trophy, yes), they traded him for Deandre Hopkins and saved some cap space. TLaw went from 78 to 95 OVR in a season. Man, the stories you can have in this game. [link] [comments] | ||
