    Gardner Minshew, Laremy Tunsil, and my biggest problems with Franchise mode.

    Gardner Minshew took over as the Jags starting QB when Nick Foles went down."Minshew Mania" was born as he played really well in Jacksonville. This bumped his rating in Madden up from a 59 to a 70. If you were to go into madden right now, and start a franchise mode from pre season week 1, there is no way you could raise Gardner Minshew's overall 11 points by week 10.

    Raiders TE Darren Waller has gone up by 13 points in that time span. He would be even more impossible to upgrade than Gardner as he is 26, one year above EA's arbitrary cutoff for XP gain.

    The Texans wanted a franchise left tackle to protect Deshaun Watson. To get him, they sent a Kings Ransom to Miami. 2 1st round picks, a 2nd, and 2 players. the maximum amount of assets you can trade at once in madden is 3. a trade like Tunsil's is impossible.

    I say all of that to say this:The NFL is unpredictable. I don't blame EA for not seeing Gardner Minshew coming along. No one did. The problem is there is no way to replicate it. If there's a low overall player you want to be a star, the path to getting them there is either supremely difficult, or outright impossible. It is entirely impossible for you to give as many assets to a team as Houston gave up for Tunsil, which severely limits what you can do. Everything in franchise mode feels the same because nothing unexpected can or does happen. The scenario engine is a good start, but it needs to apply to more than just RB's and WRs. If an offensive lineman hasn't given up a sack in, say, 8 games, give him the breakout player option. There needs to be a ton more ways to earn XP week to week. Add real life awards like rookie of the week, rookie of the month, player of the month, special teams player of the week, etc. Add a best Tight End award to the yearly awards so they can be improved upon more. Make the end of year awards offer something like quadruple the XP they do now for players under 85 overall. if Kevin King wins Best DB, I on't want to see him as a 79 the next season. I like the confidence system, but I think it would be really cool if a players confidence at the end of a season locked in as their new overall, both good and bad. Don't stop XP growth based on age, base it on overall. Adam Thielen and the aforementioned Darren Waller were 26 in their breakout season. they wouldn't have been able to do that in Madden, which is crazy. Add at least more trade spots so that if you team is one high end piece away from competing, you can mortgage the future to win now. Change focus players to focus positions so that you can improve a unit overall and not have to leave as many of your draft picks out. Winning a Super Bowl would feel so much more rewarding if EA would just go a step further in allowing each franchise to be unique from the last. Because right now, I feel like that isn't the case often enough.

    Auto-Generated Draft Classes full of awful QB's

    So i've been playing my Raiders franchise for a couple seasons now and was trying to replace Derek Carr but my draft classes for QB's have been dreadful. I'm talking like only one 1st round talent QB in each one. I figured maybe my save was just messed up, so I made franchise (offline & online) outside of this save to see if the QB classes were any better, but nope! All just terrible beside the one lone first rounder. Is anyone else having this issue?

    I really don't get all the hate for Madden 20. So many little crybabies in this community. First, let me clarify by saying I am one of the biggest critics of EA. They are a greedy company, and they certainly know how to piss off their core fans. From franchise never getting big updates or features added, to the servers being down every other day, it is easy to see why madden gets crap from the community...

    But the reality is, Madden 20 is not bad... AT ALL. Online can be unplayable at times, but franchise is AMAZING. The gameplay feels smooth and mostly realistic (yes I know run blocking and WR drops are an issue, but hear me out). Don't make me remind everyone of the last 2-3 maddens, where it was either impossible to run OR way too easy to make aggressive catches. And let's not forget about how slow and clunky everyone felt.

    In a nutshell, if you are having issues with the gameplay, USE SLIDERS. It really makes the game feel much better. But I will conclude this post by saying: keep an open mind when playing Madden 20. It may not be what we deserve as a community, but it's still a DAMN GOOD game. Period.

    EA really hates Tre'Davious White.

    Many people consider White a top 5 corner but in madden he is the 19th overall corner.

    Week 7 Tre'Davious White won AFC DPOW and he didn't even get a upgrade.

    This week he shadowed Odell and White's still didn't get a upgrade. What makes this worse is they dropped Odell 2 overall points due to his play vs White like he was getting covered by some scrub.

    Not a super happy customer after spending $60 on a game that rewards me with CONSTANT game compromising bugs. Ie kicking bar disappearing, franchise always being down and WRs not being able to catch just to name a few. The only solution i see if for EA to split to different modes into completely different games. Bring back NCAA

    What is the worat x factor ability? For me its hi low deadeye. Nobody doea high passes or low passes. And if you do any pass thats not a bullet ot will be picked off. Lemme know what yall think the worst one is.

    How to play Face of the Franchise using only my character

    I made a character a little while ago and really enjoyed playing only as a qb for a team. But I recently started another Face of the Franchise character and now it's making me play as the entire offense. When my character gets benched I play as another qb and it completely takes me out of the experience. Is there any way to ONLY play as my specific qb player without having to control anyone else or has that been updated out?
