    madden refund

    Posted: 09 Nov 2019 01:48 PM PST

I’m convinced the Madden is shutting down franchise for “maintenance” on purpose on the weekends.

    Posted: 09 Nov 2019 02:36 PM PST

They're hoping people will say "fuck it" and got play MUT. Lots of people who play franchise don't play MUT but if they can move even a few people over and make money they'll do it. This is ridiculous.

When you come back home only to discover the servers are gonna be down for fucking days

    Posted: 09 Nov 2019 01:38 PM PST

Theory: EA removed stat tracking in online H2H to increase MUT userbase. The H2H userbase went to franchise, so EA took down the franchise servers to force people to play MUT.

    Posted: 09 Nov 2019 05:16 AM PST

I know it seems far fetched, but it's EA we're talking about, a company that litters a paid game with advertisements to get you to pay even more money.

I tried to play MUT and it was either grind boring challenges for several hours until I had a team, or pay my way through. The MUT matchmaking means you need an elite team to even compete. Mine was a 75 overall and I was thrown against only high 80s-90s. To make it worse, my team was also dead slow so all of my opponents receivers had a +10 speed bonus. Even if you grind those challenges, your team isn't even competitive until you've spent 100hrs doing them.

I've always liked playing as every team in H2H to track stats, but they removed it entirely this year, so I went to franchise. Funny how MUT servers are still fine.

    Refund please

    Posted: 10 Nov 2019 01:16 AM PST

I only bought this game for the franchise mode. That is now unplayable. I want a full refund.

This game is bug infested, constant connection issues, half the time you feel like you are playing a RNG game praying you get the animation that helps you.

All this money that's poured into MUT, where the hell is it going? Clearly not into making a better game. This franchise has been garbage for years now, only reason it's bought is because it's the only decent football game out there.

Refund please, this is utter garbage, game modes that were promised don't work.

An older video I recorded from Madden 19 Franchise, a custom roster with friends as players, my QB was injured, so I got Peterman. I was down 27-7 on the road @ Bears, came back to make it 27-21. The ending:

Theory: EA isn’t giving us an update until Tuesday because they don’t want to work during the three day weekend

Starting a conspiracy theory that EA is doing all they can to shut down franchise mode so that everyone has to play MUT

    Posted: 09 Nov 2019 09:12 PM PST

tl;dr: was playing franchise offline in the wake of CFM being down, and the app crashed while I was playing and erased my profile all together. I am jokingly making a conspiracy theory.

So, since CFM has been down I've had to resort to playing offline. Not a big deal, loading times are longer but I can deal with that. Started one today, and after making some small roster moves, the app suddenly crashed. Happens sometimes and I have NEVER had a problem with data being erased off an app because of a crash. When I went to start Madden again, it sent me to the first menu to set up madden for the first time. All my data was erased, including the offline franchise saves. I would check if my CFM is available, but you know the story there.

I am hereby, starting the conspiracy theory that EA is slowly eliminating all the modes in which they cannot make money off of.

This is obviously a joke, but it is slightly frustrating that at this time, while CFM is down, all the offline data of mine was erased. Has anyone else had this experience?

On top of the current connectivity issues, EA has still not answered for countless broken CFM's

    Posted: 09 Nov 2019 01:48 PM PST

I think it's safe to say EA is doing their absolute best to kill this game for anyone who doesn't play MUT. After intermittent gating of CFM's over the past ~10 days, now they've essentially turned off franchise mode altogether.

My interest in playing madden was already at an all time low, considering my longstanding online CFM broke. It has been about a month since the issue began popping up, and EA has not suggested any sort of fix, or even acknowledged the fucking issue at all. After creating a new one and making it through all of 3 games, the servers are now turned off. This company really does not deserve anybody's money.

This is complete bullshit yet they still only care about the other servers. I wish we all could do something to hurt this company (not physically people) to make them open there eyes. You know how many people have hours and hours on that shit and its just gone (as of the moment). Just sad in general
