    Abilites are just another way for EA to be lazy. It doesn't make sense for a player with 99 power move to play worse than a player with 80 power move and a pass rush ability.

    Most of the abilities in this game could have been expressed with stats we already have. It's a shame that EA wastes time with this. They don't even know how to balance them. A good example is escape artist being able to escape the pocket with ease against contains and spies.

    They should use traits instead and ditch the current system. It will need to be removed at some point so might as well bite the bullet now.

    Escape Artist - A stupid ablity shouldn't give players a speed boost. Let their mobility be determined by their speed, acceleration and agility.

    Spin Cycle, Juke Box, Arm Bar, and Bulldozer - Why can't these just be tied to their respective stats.

    Pass rush abilities - A player with 99 power move will play worse than a player with 80 power move and a pass rush ability. This is just stupid.

    Enforcer - Why not just use the tackle and hit power ratings?

    Tackle Supreme and Unfakeable- Just make pursuit and tackling matter, instead of every single defender missing on the first juke attempt.

    Coverage Abilities - Why not just use the man/zone ratings.

    FastBreak - Why are we artificially nerfing players? Everybody should run plays using their real speed. I understand that you wanna balance the game, but you lose that excuse as soon as you let Lamar have it. At that point, just let everyone play to their real speed.

    Run stopping ablities - Again, why don't block shed and play rec determine this.

    Outside and inside zone guru - A RB shouldn't give a artificial blocking boost to the offensive line.

    Backfield mismatch and matchup nightmare - Why are the defensive and offensive ratings ignored in these matchups. Just make coverage LBs matter and nerf bad coverage LBs.

    Gunslinger - Just give players their real passing animations instead of artificially increasing their release time.

    Puller Elite and Nasty Streak - Why just not use the lead block and impact block ratings?

    Power and zone blocker - Same shit. Just use run block finesse and power.

    Grab n Go - Why don't you just make the catching stat matter? Players with higher catching should lose less momentum and be able to turn quicker.

    Anchored and Agile Extender - Break Sack?

    Protector - The player should know how to move in the pocket. They shouldn't get artifical boost to their pass block.

    These are just some examples.

    Those who run the same play over and over again. Why. Are you looking to just press the same buttons? Is that fun? Are you looking to make the other guy rage?

    I also feel your the same people who go for it 4&22 on their own 12 yard line fail. And quit.

    I hope it let's us choose what special theams play we want to sim through. I like playing just defense a lot but then it kicker will miss 10 times and he's got a 82 rating.

    what your strategy for late round picks and udfa with hidden dev , the game suggest to start them or do u ride to bench . i have mid 50 hidden dev udfa qb and a declining Matt Stafford in my franchise mode . if i start stafford for a year or two will it impact his development if turn it over to udfa qb for reference the udfa qb is 21 .
