    I know this has probably already been done but I thought I might as well do a more recent one after the insult EA released for us.

    I'm definitely missing a ton of festures to add as well as probably being off on some of these considering I didnt buy Madden 20 but hopefully this is a good start. None of these are my original ideas, this is just a compilation.

    If you have a feature not already listed here, reply to this with it, and I'll edit the post and add the idea along with your username (if you want, you can opt out of username if you want).

    This might not work like I think it will but if we want to force EAs hand we might as well list it here for some poor dev or assistant to read it and report it to a executive.

    • improved statistic reference

    I mean really, how hard can this be? play.football-gm.com, a FREE online barebones version of Franchise Mode has much better stat ref then Madden. Team names, playoff production, season history, SB history this really would take a team of developers about a week tops.

    • change the interface. Make it aesthetically pleasing lol. Really not hard.

    • STOP UNECESSARY/EARLY RETIREMENTS in all modes

    • improve the social media bulletin.

    Add a newspaper like old madden, etc. Make it homely, and get rid of the repetitive commentary. Maybe a radio station where they talk about the league at the moment. I'm sure EA could go and pay Colin Cowherd 50k to record rants for a week about how the Cowboys are shit or the Eagles are overrated. Hell they wouldn't even have to record just license old recordings.

    • get rid of the subliminal references to this being a video game.

    If EA really put effort those jokes would be ok but for a "simulation" football game, legit spending time on references like that is embarrassing.

    • kill Superstar KO, bring back OG non ticket draft champions

    • add scouting based on each CFB conference

    • make the commentary different.

    I mean really, 1 extra week of announcers recording some pre made commentary and it will sound way better. Not that hard. I'm tired of hearing about uncharted territory when a SB goes to overtime etc. Maybe even have 2 groups of announcers, I'm sure EA can afford it.

    • make non game play animations different.

    Why is the Super bowl winning animation, THE EXACT SAME. for 5 years, same thing. Add some pre game animations, warmups, Maybe the Dak dance, maybe Odell practicing one handers, bring back fly overs by fighter jets, ANYTHING. Players arriving in the team bus, stupid pre game outfits, anything. You telling us we can't re use rosters from old games but EA can re use the same game? Players going to Disney world anything.

    • coaching hierarchy

    I mean, we arent even asking for assistant coaches and what not (although thatd be amazing). How about just being able to hire a OC or DC? A market for them, etc.. and if lets say the OC or DC you hire has a unit thats best in the league or you make the SB, they get offers from other teams. And coaches should have a key trait that helps in game, and a key trait that hurts. For example, Kyle Shanahan boosts all YAC plays/west coast, but in the 4th quarter he sucks. Something. Anything.

    • Free agency negotiation

    Its so bad right now. Needs a complete revamp.. For example, player friendly GMs like Andy Reid or former players like John Lynch and John Elway get an ability that lowers asking prices from young players. Established GMs like Colbert or Belichick get higher chances of signing veterans. Etc.. and if you are a GM in CFM, you pick your ability when you get in the league and it weakens or strengthens based on wins. When negotiating with players, reputation and counter offers should be a thing as well as backloading, front loading. Contracts need to be realistic. 30 year old 70 ovr 81 overall QBs shouldn't be asking for market setting deals. Each offer should be directly related to: the current FA class and how good they are compared to them, and current cap scenario and the highest paid at their position. Literally just make the devs play 2k for a bit and tell them we want that but NFL CBA version.

    • fix blocking please

    Like half the problem is when you try to sprint thru the gap and that causes defense to sprint as well, and suddenly 90 overall Quenton Nelson is a traffic cone. Literally quick fixes: if you sprint behind the LOS, defensive players don't sprint (at least fully, unless you are going backwards), they instead move laterally more than shooting the gap and try to meet you where you are supposed to go. Obviously that's not all of it, and it would take a while to fix, but its not hard either. Create two different blocking types zone and gap (just like in real life). Literally 3 run types work right now, needs to change. Not to mention option plays need to be fixed and maybe even used more. Read option and RPO are staples of the modern offense, its time Madden adapted as well.

    • new physics based engine

    This will obviously take a very long time. But if Madden 22 was a legitimate physics based engine (with some animations mixed here and there) even with the presumptive bugs that would be there for the first time it was in the game, I think everyone would be OK if it was better for the future of the game.

    I will try to edit this as replies come in, hopefully a good amount of engagement.
