NFL Update on Twitter “EA Sports announced that they are "actively" working on bolstering plans to support franchise mode in Madden 21 and beyond.”

Other than the gameplay, one thing I miss about the older games is the ridiculous computer generated names.

Proposal for everyone from all communities

    Posted: 02 Jul 2020 10:52 AM PDT

Franchise fans are beyond mad this year. EA gave us a slap in the face. But it isn't just franchise fans who get ignored. EA has a monopoly over NFL football and has no incentive to improve. How do we all collectively make our voice heard? #FixMaddenFranchise is awesome right now and we need to keep being relentless with that, but we need to take it further

One idea that goes around is boycotting the game. However this idea isn't very realistic for a lot of people. There are communities that don't play franchise and people who make their livings off other game modes. It is also often pointed out that they make most of their money off of MUT so sales won't hurt their budget too much.

I thought about it and I think the best way to hit them is for everyone to delay buying the game for 1 week. There are several reasons for this: First off members from every community can do this. It won't put a huge strain on your life, all we are asking is wait one more week for the new Madden. This will allow a much larger portion of the community to participate in the protest because it isn't asking much. Second off this could kill their PR even further. Imagine "Record low amount of people buy Madden on the opening weekend" and "No one buys madden" headlines. The only headline they can currently cling to is games sold, so this would help in that department.

But the biggest reason to do this would not to be to give Franchise guys a voice, but to give the consumer a voice. In the following years if there is a MUT issue or a gameplay issue, we can band together again. Delay buying it longer. I think this would be a realistic way to get some leverage back to the consumer. Let me know if this is actually a good idea.

TLDR: Everyone delay buying the game for a week. This will give leverage back to the consumer.

Let's try to get this trending or something for a open demo.

If Madden was actually proud of the game they'd do a open demo for everyone with Madden 20 like they used to! You would think more feedback = the better?

EA needs to just re rerelease madden 05/08 with madden 20 graphics

    Posted: 02 Jul 2020 06:56 PM PDT

After they did this EA could just update the new madden every season with roster updates instead of a brand new game every year.

But they probably lack the resources to do so.

EA should make nfl street and create an online community. The people would love it.

A porposal about the #FixMaddenFranchise movements future

    Posted: 02 Jul 2020 02:59 PM PDT

I made this account just to openly display my humble opinion to this community.

I believe there is only one way forward. The wheel has been set in motion and together we won't be silenced or ignored.

The only way for this community (not just the franchise guys really all of us) to go froward from #FixMaddenFranchise is to go to the source of this problem. We have to go beyond posting #FixMaddenFranchise and punishing EA. I suggest each one of us to go to the Twitter feeds of our favorite NFL Team be it Saints, Packers, Patriots etc. and spam a Hashtag demanding change in terms of the NFL license! It can be #FreeNFLGame or something along the lines like #OpenyourLicenseNFL followed by #FixMaddenFranchise Maybe even adress the owners directly.

In the end we can hurt EAs pockets to some extent but they are able to tank one year (if they even have to) only two groups can provide real change long term, the Shareholders and the NFL Owners. Luckily we are able to send clear messages to them and we have to target both at the same time if we want to change the Madden culture long-term, we need to speak with one voice, work and support each other, we can not be allowed to be tempted in sacrificing our communities brothers and sisters game modes for our own ones, there is enough space for all of our beloved game modes to each get the attention that is needed, demanded and deserved.

There is a latin saying from the romans: Divide et impera. It translates to divide and conquer and this is what EA has done in the past. What was once only the franchise community has (as a result of the existence of online play) broken up into multiple groups (Mut, Superstar K.O, Franchise etc.) and EA watched as these factions started fighting each other over the little amount of ressources spent since many years. The result was our community to be torn apart making it easier to ignore all of our voices. That never was the answer to get what we wanted in the first place and now suddenly things have changed. After many years when the franchise community, once the pillar of this community stood alone we all finally bonded together and spoke with one voice.

Let's stand united, we are not enemies we are the power of consumers and a solidary society within gaming, I ask all of you please we need every single gamer, the 20 year madden veteran as well as the first year player only doing streched run plays, let's do this together or we will never get back the gaming standard we don't only want but deserve, in the end it will benefit us all.
