    Just realized the "new" Madden comes out in 13 days and I dont think I've ever been less excited for a Madden release. I checked into Madden 20 at the release for about a month and then checked out until the Easter promo. I stayed steady until the Rookie Premieres which I got six or seven of and then checked back out for the summer.

    Now, I feel super disconnected with the game and more connected with the community after the whole #FixMaddenFranchise in refusing to buy the game.

    In conclusion, I probably wont buy the game unless I have a friend who does. It gets old doing the same thing by yourself year after year. It's just the same thing on repeat, and cheesere online dont help.

    Anyone else feel this way?

    So for the past few years now, I just haven't been able to get into playing Madden like I used to.

    Then randomly I started playing a bunch of old gamecube games, and on a whim tried Madden 2004 again.

    I feel crazy but I swear the gameplay was infinitely better. The games progressed more realistically, slower, more defensive, harder in the passing game, easier in the running game to make you play a more balanced offensive, even when bad things happened, it felt more dramatic and sensible.

    When I went back to Madden 20, I felt like I was playing an arcade game. Unrealistically fast, inexplicable mistakes, etc.

    Anyone else notice this? Maybe even vs. slightly newer versions of Madden?

    Ncaa 14... Amazing

    I've been watching NTE youtube channel on ncaa 14. I haven't played the game in years, i no longer have a ps3 sadly. But just watching the gameplay... Omg !. The blocking is UNBELIEVABLE compared to madden, on runs the receivers actually block, the o-line runs in front of the RB for blocks. I know it's not perfect but compared to madden, it looks like the best game ever, how is it a game 6 years ago is more fluid than now, same with 2k5. The A.I doesn't just run outta bounds when the ball is caught by the sideline, the receivers atleast TRY to turn up field. Lets hope madden 21 is a big change this year, I'm just so tired of madden rn lol.

    Shitty franchise and lack of features aside, Madden 17 (the one with Gronk on the cover) had the best gameplay of the Xbox One/PS4 iterations. It was the last year of the Ignite Engine, which while clunky at times, is so much more satisfying than the bullshit scripted animations we got from Frostbite. Blockers were smarter, catches were more natural, and everything felt a little more earned than random.

    How to turn on the coverage lines on defense??? How do I turn on the lines that show who to cover during the play??? Like when I’m usering a linebacker and there is a line (that changes)to show who to defend. Sorry for the double post I wanted to add a pic

    Madden should use Awareness as a differentiator positionally. The Breakdowns should go something like D-Backs have better route reading in zone/ better ball tracking and head turning. Also they shouldn't be getting consistently gotten by the same routes Receivers-better ball tracking/ cut-offs on routes like comebacks and Curls D-Lineman with great awareness should have better gap awareness / Contain. Linebackers should read play action better with Elite MLBs being able to audible play calls defensively based off of tendencies they've seen throughout the game. These are just a few of them but I really think adding emphasis to Awareness can help with making players feel like their overall

    You know what's funny 2k fans cry about the gm mode how it's trash but they have a good scouting system, good contracts, sit downs with players/coaches/owner, a weekly press meeting, sponsors and a pricing graph while us franchise players have nothing I guess when you've been spoiled so long you become brats not realizing what they got
