    Problems with maddens current regression system

    I will say, it's better than M17s system, which made any player lose 2 speed every year after 28. But still, there are many problems.

    • Regression is currently very dev trait based. That can be both good and bad, but when Olinemen barely ever gain a dev trait, it causes problems. If regression is gonna be development based, then you have to be able to lose development. Also, breakout scenarios are necessary for QBs and OL so that dev traits are given out properly.

    • Regression is no longer given for poor performances. I remember in M17 when OL could lose 4 Pass Block for allowing multiple sacks. RBs with low YPC would regress too. A Qb with under 150 yards would regress. Where did that go? If a player plays unexpectedly bad, he should regress. Not all regression comes bc of age.

    • Qbs prime years end way too early. Star dev Qbs start to regress at 29, with most superstars regress at 31, and X factors from 32-34. This means it is currently impossible to see a Tom Brady in madden. They regress too quickly. Aaron Rodgers often retires at a 65 ovr. Matt Ryan plays until he is 57 ovr. Even when Mahomes turns 40, he is already a 75-80 ovr. Qbs regress too quickly, even if they are X factors.

    • Qbs over 27 have minimal room for improvement. Xp bars start to go up astronomically. If Matt Stafford wins MVP, he will maybe have 2 skill points if you're lucky. He will still regress bc he's already 32. If a Qb wins MVP, they shouldn't regress the next year that harshly. Especially if they are only turning 32.

    • Just add a regression slider EA! Instead of wasting time trying to find the right balance in regression, let the community do it. We know madden better than the devs do. We know all the annoyances abt the current regression system.

    • Unless Qbs underperform, they should NEVER lose awareness. If Aaron Rodgers is still playing well at age 38, then why should he lose 15 awareness? Old players don't immediately get dementia and forget how to play. If anything, technique and intelligence is what keeps old players good. I shouldn't see Big Ben with 60 awareness a few years in my franchise.

    College Football Returns For Madden 21 [18/32] [XBOX]

    Hello all, I am here to invite you to a college football Madden 21 league. This is a SIM-STYLE league with many features to mirror CFB instead of the NFL, including:

    Why hasn’t EA focused on crossplay?

    It seems like the most logical thing to unite the player bases and create a larger player pool. They could easily call it on the biggest features of the new title and there would be no resistance by the players whatsoever. It would also help out the ghost town that is pc. So why doesn't EA just finally add it?

    [Troubleshoot PC] This menu always pops up, and I can't get rid of it to snap the ball. This is '19, happens in 20 as well. Is this just a controller issue?
