Will the Brian Griese led 1-3 Broncos pull off a comeback stunner over the 4-0 Bengals? (BTW using a ‘02 Roster now on my second season so it’s ‘03, Bengals drafted Byron Leftwich in the second round of the ‘03 draft)

Pick 2-31 - Paul Jackson (DT, Iowa, 72 OVR, Hidden)

With the loss of Super Bowl 64, the Baltimore Ravens got a painful reminder that they weren't unstoppable, nor were they eternal. With the surprise retirement of future Hall of Famer Marlon Humphrey, many of the team's stars have the same on their mind, along with his replacement Carlton Davis. Coach Martindale knows this could potentially be the last year for many of the guys, and he wants to end their career on a Peyton Manning-esque high note.

By week 6, the Ravens had taken a firm hold of the division by defeating each rival and remaining one of the last undefeated teams (the other being the Packers). They stayed undefeated until week 9 when they fell to the Steelers 35-28, and again two weeks later to the Buccaneers. Due to an easy schedule, the team coasted through the rest of the season to a 13-3 record.

Prior to the Divisional game against the Jaguars, Mark Andrews informed Coach Martindale that this season would likely be his last, and he wanted to make one last push at another ring. Baker Mayfield led a good drive down the field, but the Jaguars were stopped at the goalline and had to kick. The Ravens' first drive ended in a quick punt. The Jaguars were able to get the ball into the endzone this time, going up 10-0. The Ravens responded with a quick drive capped off by a J.K. Dobbins TD run. Baltimore got the ball back quickly and scored another quick TD to David Harris. The Jaguars punted quickly, giving the Ravens a third consecutive scoring drive to extend the lead 21-10. On the opening drive of the second half, Dobbins scored his third TD. The defense forced another punt for the Ravens to give Dobbins a fourth TD. An Isaiah Simmons interception gave the Ravens a chance to kick a field goal and go up 38-10. The next Jaguars drive was ended prematurely by a Fred Warner interception, which the offense turned into 3 for a final score of 41-10.

In the Championship game against the Chiefs, the Ravens received the opening kickoff and punted it away. The Chiefs brought the ball to Ravens territory and kicked a field goal. On the second Ravens drive, they punted again after a deep pass to Dobbins. The Chiefs then scored on a 75 yard TD rush with Clyde Edwards-Helaire. To start the 2nd, the Ravens finally put together a scoring drive with a TD pass to Dobbins. The Chiefs answered by kicking a field goal to hold onto their lead. The Ravens brought the Chiefs' lead down to 2 with a field goal to end the half at 12-10. The Chiefs fought back with another Edwards-Helaire TD run, but the Ravens equaled that with a 41 yard TD pass to Dobbins. Kansas City was fighting tooth and nail, and scored a TD pass to Lindsey Cooks. Baltimore kicked another field goal to make it a one score game in the 4th. The Chiefs went up again with a Paul McCollum TD. The Ravens brought it back within one score with another Dobbins TD, but there was only 90 seconds remaining. The Ravens used all of their timeouts, but they were able to force the Chiefs to punt with just over a minute remaining. The Ravens put together a legendary drive with a Tremayne Hearst TD and 2-pt conversion.

The NFC Champions were the Carolina Panthers, led by 30 year old QB Gary Robinson. The Panthers punted on the opening drive and the Ravens took the ball to the goalline only to fail a 4th & Goal. The first score came in the second half when Gary Robinson threw a 35 yard TD pass to Brandon Ross. The Ravens retaliated with a TD of their own to Sharrif Kinney, and then another to Tremayne Hearst. The Panthers scored a TD with T.J. Tartt before halftime. The Ravens kicked off the 2nd half with a J.K. Dobbins TD run, which was followed by a 38 yard TD pass to Hearst. The Panthers' next drive was ended when Patrick Queen picked off Gary Robinson, putting the offense in position for a David Harris TD. The Panthers scored on their next drive in an attempt to get back into the game in the 4th. The Ravens established a 3 score lead with a field goal that ended up putting the game away. With this win, the Ravens took the lead on Super Bowl wins, and Mark Andrews gets to retire with a ring on each finger.

    Heroes of 2030:

Now 7-time MVP Lamar Jackson led the league in passing yards (4,753) and passing TDs (44) with only 3 interceptions.

J.K. Dobbins put up 1,010 yards and 9 TDs

Tremayne Hearst led the league in yards with 1,592. He also cam second for receiving TDs with 13 (second only to former Raven Devin Duvernay, who had 20.)

Grant Diggs played 1,141 snaps while only allowing one sack.

    2031

    Contract Updates:

Orlando Brown Jr. was resigned to a 1 year, 9.4 million dollar contract.

Kevin Church was resigned to a 1 year, 7.29 million dollar contract.

Devonta Davis was resigned to a 1 year, 13.3 million dollar contract.

Frank Taylor was resigned to a 4 year, 32.3 million dollar contract.

Lamar Ogletree was resigned to a 4 year, 46.5 million dollar contract.

Carlton Davis III was resigned to a 1 year, 14.5 million dollar contract.

Jeremy Rivers was resigned to a 3 year, 14.6 million dollar contract.

Justin Tucker was resigned to a 1 year, 1.94 million dollar contract.

Marquise Brown was signed to a 1 year, 1.85 million dollar contract.

    Retirements:

    Mark Andrews (TE)

    Carlton Davis III (CB)

    Draft:

Pick 1-32 - Gregory Calhoun (HB, Clemson, 75 OVR)

Pick 2-32 - Jamie Warner (C, Oregon State, 75 OVR)

Pick 3-32 - Landon Mclean (LE, Tulane, 69 OVR)

Pick 4-32 - Manny Short (DT, Boise State, 73 OVR)

Pick 5-32 - Kahlil Haynes (WR, Appalachian State, 62 OVR)

Pick 6-32 - Adrian Morgan (RT, Florida, 65 OVR)

Pick 7-32 - Kris Benedict (WR, Purdue, 65 OVR, Hidden)

After their 7th Super Bowl win, the Ravens cemented themselves as the best team of all time, and Coach Martindale the best coach of all time. With Mark Andrews gone, 4th year TE J.C. Porter has big shoes to fill, and a big duty to keep the offense together. On the defensive side, the loss of Jamie Levy to free agency has left a large gap in the defensive line. Many on the team think that Baltimore won't get another Lombardi for many years.

The Ravens got off to a hot start, going 4-1, tied for the division. Due to some struggles against the NFC West and the Dolphins, the team limped into the bye week at 4-5. The team rallied and went on a 7 game win streak to make it into the playoffs at 11-5.

Prior to the Wild Card playoff game against the Raiders, Orlando Brown Jr. told the team that he was planning to retire after the season. The Raiders offense completely outplayed the Ravens in a game that they won 31-28. Lamar Jackson had 1 TD pass to Tremayne Hearst, while J.K. Dobbins rushed for 3 TDs. Raiders QB Patrick Allen threw 2 TDs, one to Henry Ruggs, and one to Mike Knighton. Josh Jacobs got another 2 on the ground and Johnny Dickerson kicked the field goal that gave them the edge. The Raiders went on to become the first AFC Champion in over a decade to be from a division other than the AFC North. They shut out the Saints 30-0.

    Heroes of 2031:

Lamar Jackson won his eighth MVP award with a statline of 4,735 passing yards, 38 TDs and 11 interceptions

J.K. Dobbins put up 1,083 yards and 10 TDs

Rookie RB Gregory Calhoun came second for the OROY award with 9 TDs.

Tremayne Hearst came second for yards (1,389) and TDs (13)

Jose Dawkins won DB of the year with 5 interceptions.

    Pro Bowlers:

    Lamar Jackson (QB)

    J.K. Dobbins (RB)

    Tremayne Hearst (WR)

    J.C. Porter (TE)

    Shawn Florence (LG)

    Evan Fontaine (C)

    Grant Diggs (RG)

    Caleb Henry (RT)

    Devonta Davis (DT)

    Jose Dawkins (CB)

    2032

    Contract Updates:

Thaddeus McCloud was resigned to a 4 year, 65.1 million dollar contract.

Isaiah Simmons was resigned to a 3 year, 43.1 million dollar contract.

Devonta Davis was resigned to a 1 year, 13 million dollar contract.

Grant Diggs was resigned to a 4 year, 60.2 million dollar contract.

Fred Warner was resigned to a 1 year, 9.04 million dollar contract.

Patrick Queen was resigned to a 1 year, 6.12 million dollar contract.

Kevin Church was resigned to a 1 year, 6.99 million dollar contract.

Orlando Brown Jr. was resigned to a 1 year, 10.08 million dollar contract.

Shaquille Hall was resigned to a 3 year, 2.94 million dollar contract.

Justin Tucker was resigned to a 1 year, 750 thousand dollar contract.

J.C. Porter was resigned to a 4 year, 25.5 million dollar contract.

    Lamar Jackson was franchise tagged.

    Retirements:

    Orlando Brown Jr. (RT)

    Justin Tucker (K)

    Draft:

Pick 1-23 - Shawn Christmas (FS, South Carolina, 74 OVR, Hidden)

Pick 2-23 - Carlos Spence (LE, Maryland, 72 OVR)

Pick 3-23 - Antonio Baxter (C, Penn State, 73 OVR, Hidden)

Pick 4-23 - Demetrius Ward (CB, Georgia, 68 OVR)

Pick 5-23 - Caesar Cruz (LOLB, Ohio State, 67 OVR)

    Pick 6-23 - James Morton (K, USF, 66 OVR)

Pick 7-23 - Troy Berry (FB, Notre Dame, 69 OVR)

The rest of the league breathes a sigh of relief as it looks like the Ravens dynasty is collapsing. With the retirements of Orlando Brown Jr. and future Hall of Fame kicker Justin Tucker, the remnant of the old stars prepare to do the same. Coach Martindale knows that it might just be time to prepare to rebuild.

The Ravens got off to a somewhat expected start, going into the week 6 bye at 2-3. By week 10, their record had miraculously improved to 5-3. After a short losing streak and a 5 game win streak, the Ravens stumbled into the playoffs at 10-6.

The Ravens came against the Jaguars in the playoffs once again. The Jaguars opening drive resulted in a field goal. The Ravens put the ball back in their end zone with a Troy Berry TD run. The Jaguars retaliated with a TD run of their own with DaQuan Philbin. The Jaguars forced a punt and extended their lead by 3. The Ravens marched back down the field, capping it off with a TD pass to Dobbins to go up by 1 at halftime. The Ravens immediately got to kick the second half off with another Troy Berry TD. Fred Warner intercepted the Jaguars on the next drive, leading to a J.K. Dobbins TD. The Jaguars responded with a Nathan Combs TD run. The Ravens then kicked a field goal to put the game away.

The Ravens' divisional round opponent was the Browns. The Ravens forced a punt on the opening drive and scored a J.K. Dobbins TD. The Browns subsequent drive was ended by a Rishard Richards interception and the offense used the field position to score a TD pass to David Harris. The Browns forced a punt and got into positions to score, but Fred Warner intercepted the ball. The Browns finally scored in the second quarter with a field goal. They quickly followed up with a Duane Weeks TD. The Browns forced a fumble in Ravens territory and scored with a Travis Springs pass to Darrel Wiley. The Ravens quickly retook the lead on a 39 yard TD run by Dobbins. The Browns took it back with a TD pass to Jerome DuBois to bring the score to 24-21 one minute before halftime. In that minute, the Browns scored another TD pass to DuBois to bring the score to 30-21. The Ravens started the second half with a field goal. Their next drive resulted in another field goal. The Browns held onto the lead with a field goal of their own. Cleveland finished by running down the clock and kicking a field goal to put the game away. The Cleveland Browns went on to lose to the Rams in Super Bowl 67.

    Heroes of 2032:

Tremayne Hearst put up 1,203 yards and 10 TDs

Davis Harris put up 1,115 yards and 10 TDs

Thaddeus McCloud had 10 TFLs, 6 sacks, and 2 interceptions

Fred Warner put up 12 TFLs, 3 sacks, and 5 interceptions

Jose Dawkins also had 5 interceptions

    Pro Bowlers:

    J.K. Dobbins (RB)

    Tremayne Hearst (WR)

    Shawn Florence (LG)

    Grant Diggs (RG)

    Caleb Henry (RT)

    Devonta Davis (DT)

    Paul Jackson (DT)

    Thaddeus McCloud (ROLB)

    Jose Dawkins (CB)

    Bryan Webb (P)

    2033

Lamar Jackson was resigned to a 1 year, 25 million dollar contract.

David Harris was resigned to a 5 year, 117 million dollar contract.

Caleb Henry was resigned to a 3 year, 47.7 million dollar contract.

Jose Dawkins was resigned to a 1 year, 14.9 million dollar contract.

Devonta Davis was resigned to a 1 year, 14.2 million dollar contract.

J.K. Dobbins was resigned to a 2 year, 15.9 million dollar contract.

Fred Warner was resigned to a 1 year, 3.98 million dollar contract.

Kevin Church was resigned to a 1 year, 2.27 million dollar contract.

Tony Spillman was resigned to a 4 year, 43 million dollar contract.

Patrick Queen was resigned to a 1 year, 1.59 million dollar contract.

    Retirements:

    Isaiah Simmons (SS)

    Fred Warner (MLB)

    Kevin Church (RE)

    Draft:

Pick 1-25 - Emmett Felder (FS, Miami, 76 OVR)

Pick 2-25 - Ramon Thompson (RE, Texas, 76 OVR, Hidden)

Pick 3-25 - Byron Hix (CB, Oregon, 71 OVR)

Pick 4-25 - Marcus Lowry (LOLB, Northwestern, 68 OVR)

Pick 5-25 - Edward Godfrey (RE, Texas, 68 OVR)

Pick 6-25 - Nazir Spellman (ROLB, Wyoming, 65 OVR)

Pick 7-25 - Mitch Slater (LE, Michigan, 61 OVR)

Two of the greatest free agency signings of all time, along with Martindale's second draft pick, have retired. Coach hopes the younger players can step up and fill that void. He's especially interested in second round pick Ramon Thompson, who he believes can be the successor to Kevin Church. If Martindale can keep drafting players like Thompson, he could possibly make another playoff run or two in a few years before Lamar Jackson retires.

The Ravens got off to a mediocre 3-3 start. The rushing attack is near nonexistent and the defense has struggled to stop drives. Their season continued in a similar manner, finishing with a 7-9 record, missing the playoffs for the first time since 2025.

    Heroes of 2033:

Despite the lackluster season, Lamar Jackson still had 4,430 yards and 34 TDs. He passed Mahomes in career yards and moved up to 3rd in career TDs, behind Brady and Brees.

David Harris put up 1,271 yards and 10 TDs.

J.C. Porter had a very Andrews-like season, with 753 yards and 10 TDs.

Frank Taylor put up 15 TFLs and 5.5 sacks.

Rookie CB Byron Hix had 3 interceptions in his first season.

    Pro Bowlers:

    David Harris (WR)

    Grant Diggs (RG)

    Caleb Henry (RT)

    Devonta Davis (DT)

    Adonis Cummings (PR)

    2034

    Contract Updates:

Lamar Jackson was resigned to a 1 year, 24.4 million dollar contract.

Jose Dawkins was resigned to a 1 year, 15.6 million dollar contract.

Devonta Davis was resigned to a 1 year, 18.7 million dollar contract.

Paul Jackson was resigned to a 2 year, 17.5 million dollar contract.

Bryan Webb was resigned to a 2 year, 5.16 million dollar contract.

Adonis Cummings was resigned to a 2 year, 6.32 million dollar contract.

Patrick Queen was resigned to a 1 year, 750 thousand dollar contract.

    Franchise Tagged Tremayne Hearst.

Martin Collins (LOLB) was signed to a 5 year, 108 million dollar contract.

    Retirements:

    J.K. Dobbins (RB)

    Draft:

Pick 1-13 - James Nobles (RE, Oklahoma State, 77 OVR)

Pick 2-13 - Gordon Boyce (TE, Georgia, 75 OVR)

Pick 3-13 - Ethan Robinson (LG, Colorado, 74 OVR, Hidden)

Pick 4-13 - Elijah Bingham (CB, Temple, 70 OVR)

Pick 5-13 - Kordell Webber (MLB, Lehigh, 61 OVR)

Pick 6-13 - DaQuan Wayne (RB, Texas A&M, 65 OVR, Hidden)

Pick 7-13 - LaDarius Langford (LT, Washington State, 64 OVR)

Coach Martindale thinks that the team has an outside chance at a playoff run this year. He was disappointed in the offensive line play, and is hoping that Ethan Robinson can have a positive effect on the unit. Martindale expects a similar record to last year, but he can't really predict how the season could go.

The Ravens established a lead to the division quickly, with a 3-1 start. By midseason, that record had gone to 4-4 with losses to the Steelers and Bengals. The Ravens finished by improving on last year's 7-9 record… with an 8-8 record. Arguably worse because they still miss the playoffs but get a lower draft pick.

    Heroes of 2034:

Lamar Jackson threw for 4,425 yards and 33 TDs. He's just one decent season away from passing Brett Favre and Peyton Manning in yards and he's just 3 TDs away from a career record.

Rookie DaQuan Wayne rushed for 8 TDs and finished second for OROY.

Tremayne Hearst was second in yards (1,335) and first in TDs (14).

Martin Collins put up 14 TFLs, 8.5 sacks and an interception.

    Pro Bowlers:

    Tremayne Hearst (WR)

    Ethan Robinson (LG)

    Antonio Baxter (C)

    Grant Diggs (RG)

    Caleb Henry (RT)

    Martin Collins (LOLB)

    Thaddeus McCloud (ROLB)

    Cross generation CFM (Xbox)

    Posted: 17 Mar 2021 01:32 AM PDT

Hello, I'm hoping someone can help me out as the internet so far hasn't been helpful. Myself and 5 friends play CFM on M20 at the moment but at the end of the current season we plan to move to M21. 5 of the 6 have next gen consoles and 1 has an Xbox one, are we able to play using the next generation version (the one person gets less next gen stuff) of the game or do we all have to play on the lower version?

From experience is there a big difference between both?

    TIA.

Any advice on playing online franchise with friends that are substantially worse than me

So I play an online franchise with a couple of my friends, who are relatively newer to the game, so naturally I'm a lot better than them. We've so far played two seasons and I am currently 32-0 and undefeated in both playoffs (playing on all pro for them, but still switched to all madden for some of my games and still blowing teams out by 40+ every game). Is there anyway I can alter the league to make it more difficult for me or find a way we're they can still have fun and I won't go 16-0 every season? It kinda ruins the fun that I basically cannot lose on this setting and lack of slider adjustment and spoils it for them because they know they will never be able to win a Super Bowl. Any advice would be appreciated, I'm newer to franchise so hoping there's some setting that I don't know about that could help me here. Sorry the long text
