    Goat is a well established madden league that has been running for multiple Maddens. After we split into two leagues, we have had a lack of good users that stay a while. We have a great core of players that enjoy playing madden and are active in our discord server. We are currently looking for 7 users to fill up the last spots ( Patriots, Giants, Rams, Jets, Seahawks, Chargers, Steelers. ).

    The league is currently in Season 4 Week 8

    • League Settings
    • No Fantasy Draft
    • Quarter Length: 7 Minutes
    • Accelerated Clock: Off
    • Skill Level: All-Pro
    • Game Speed: Normal
    • Game Style: Simulation
    • Practice Squad Stealing: On
    • Relocation: Off
    • Trade Deadline: On (Last week to trade is Week 8)
    • Injuries: On (Slider is set to 25 and injuries will not be turned off at any point so sim injuries will happen)
    • Pre-Existing Injuries: Off
    • XP Sliders: 100% Gameplay Sliders are all set at default (50)
    • Player Speed Threshold is set to 50
    • Weekly Advances: 9PM CST every 48 hours

    Goat is a sim-league, that means that formations, plays and routes need to be mixed up frequently. Glitched plays are allowed but shouldn't be spammed. Games are scheduled through discord. A special trade calculator is used to approve a trade, but in some cases exceptions can be made.

    Whose that player you hate in Madden? Why do you hate them?

    Mine is Tarik Cohen.

    He runs on me for the Bears so much, the difference between him in real life as opposed to Madden is insane.

    Just a couple of examples..

    Something actually happening during halftime, it's annoying that Brandon Gaudin complains about me skipping halftime when nothing even happens. Something they should do is have them talk about stuff going on around the league, there's that big panel of top news, when you're not in a match consisting of free agent signings, trades, players that are doing good, etc.

    Fixing the random glitches. For example, yesterday I was playing, I caught a pick, then my DB fumbled it and my linebacker recovered it, the "command center" reviewed it to see if he fumbled, they found he did, but whatever, it actually got me yards because the ball went forward, however, it for whatever reason made me continue the downs that the other team played, except my offense was on the field this time, so I was on 4th and 24 and had to punt.

    Also another thing, so the NFL made it so the stadium crowd numbers aren't affected by how the season or game is doing, so why have Gaudin and Davis say a million times a game that the stadium is empty or about to be empty from a blowout?

    I feel like IGN doesn't get enough hate for the ridiculous reviews they give Madden every year. I just watched the Madden 19 review, as I feel it's the worst Madden I've ever played, and the review could be construed as downright fraudulent.

    The review is overwhelmingly positive, he talks about how good gameplay feels, which is ironic as 19 had the clunkiest gameplay of any title I've played. He talks about the new depth added to franchise, give me a break, and then goes on to give it an 8.9. When are IGN going to be held to account for doing this every year?

    Not sure what it's called but Harrison Smith, Jamal Adams, Bobby Wagner, etc all have it. Almost any time they hit you it's a fumble. I mean come on.

    Super basic franchise drafting tips

    Hi!

    I've been playing around with Franchise mode in Madden and I've got a basic understanding of the mode and how it's pretty much different from other franchise modes that I play across other sports games. Big problem for me: drafting.

    No matter how many times I scout certain positions of need or positions in general I still can't make really good picks and I end up reaching real hard and not getting good overalls/potentials.

    I would just like some basic drafting tips such as determining "true talent" or where a certain player is gonna go truly in the draft. Any and all suggestions will be taken into consideration.

    What's the best way to stop someone abusing a WR with the x-factor? Double coverage, swatting instead of trying to pick it?

    I swear if a WR like Julio or Evans gets in the zone they are literally unstoppable in this game

    Im just at a loss anymore on what to do with this crap. Defensively its almost impossible to play against the cpu.

    Only three options happen. 1. You dominate and the cpu finishes with less than 150 yards. You win by 40 points no fun. 2. The cpu dominates offensively and goes up and down the field but cant score in the red zone or turns the ball over near the endzone. Qb 25-29 400+ yards. 1 td 3 ints. You win by 40+ points no fun. 3. Cant stop anything. Youre lucky to force an incomplete pass. Lose 45-42 no fun Is it just better to play offense only or what? I change sliders after every game. Even more frustrating i play with two teams in franchise and the cpu plays completely different for both even though all sliders and settings are the same
