    Something I noticed while playing FOTF is that Isaiah Streets is a bad person.

    When you start your first game Isaiah Streets pulls you aside and tells you how much winning the National Championship means to him and basically tells you to not fuck up. Keep in mind, you've been a back up your whole college career. Streets is a star and future heisman winner and demands you play like Joe Burrow. Then when the assistant coach tells you that coach wants to simplify the offense for you, Streets gets pissed, not because he doesn't believe in you but because he won't get to shine. He never tried to uplift you, never tells you he believes in you. He tells you that you guys need to be on the same page, his page.

    After the game he starts being a good ol buddy with you. This is because he is using you. Never even gave you a hey man I believed in you good job.

    Let's move to the National Championship. Even if you're winning and giving him some TD's he complains he's not getting the ball enough. Again wanting the spotlight. I get it, he's doing it for his brother as a promise, however he's being a total dick head about it. Once the game is won he on the podium says that you came into an impossible situation and did incredible. Cool but he only did this in front of people and never directly to you in private. This to me makes me believe that he was just using you to win the national championship.

    After you enter the league, you exchange a few texts and ya da yada. But, he eventually stops messaging you. Presumably he won the heisman and is now entering the league. All without you. Why? Because he doesn't need you anymore. You give him nothing, not even friendship. He is a bad person in my eyes.

    Little things about franchise mode that suck

    • Players get elected to HOF the same year they retired, not 5+ years after

    • You can't sign players mid season to 2+ year long contracts, and can't add bonus

    • X factors and abilities are randomly assigned and don't take into account player skill, for example my QB with 65 trucking got bulldozer. You also can't change these unless you control the specific player

    -Drafted Field General or Strong Arm QBs have 55 speed often. In today's day no pocket QBs are like Tom Brady.

    -TEs draftee with 65 speed are way to common, and there aren't enough elite speed TEs

    -Rookie players will never develop on CPU teams unless you crank up the xp sliders to 200+

    -Drafting Olinemen is still too easy, one look at the bench press and you're set. Nothing about technique or awareness. You can still draft good olinemen without scouting them as long as they have a good bench.

    -Olinemen can't upgrade development through breakout player. I guess there aren't any Jason Kelce's (6th round pick) in Madden.

    -QB regression starts at Age 29 for some, and superstar QBs will still regress at age 30

    -Franchise tag players will never hold out, allowing you to tag Dak Prescott for as long as you want

    -Players will never hold out for new contracts, or if you bench Carson Wentz for Jalen Hurts then why isn't someone like Zach Ertz, Wentz favorite teammate, not holding out. You can't bench anyone you want and not expect any repercussions.

    -The retirement system is broken. Some players just disappear in the free agency pool and aren't in the transaction log. Also, you can't veto retirements, causing the same people to retire for the first few years.

    -The CPU will play a 32 YO over a 22 YO because he is 2 overall better, stunting the young players development. Sim stats reflect this too.

    -QBs in sim don't rush for enough yards, 400 yards is max. I guess Lamar is screwed bc sim is broken.

    -Auto subs are broken, so you can't create a Dline rotation unless it's formation specific, or an RB committee unless you do formation subs.

    -You can't see future draft classes, in real life GMs decide if they can wait to draft a Trevor Lawrence, or draft Tua right now. That isn't in madden since I have no clue about future classes and what their strengths are.

    • Draft stories have been the same since Madden 17. I'm sick of the boxer/olympic runner/son of coach/rugby player every year. Oh and the Heisman winner is a defensive player, what a shocker.

    • Why is Mariota, Winston, or Brissett winning MVP almost all the time? Why isn't there a comeback player award, like in real life? Why can't I vote for the pro bowl, instead of allowing the CPU to randomly pick.

    -Why is the preseason schedule the same EVERY YEAR in franchise? Let me pick my schedule in preseason.

    • Why doesn't Week 17 involve divisional matchups, the NFL requires week 17 to be a divisional matchup?

    -The same faces have been available for rookies since madden 17. Not one added. Why not let me use face creator for custom draft classes???

    -Trading up in the draft is WAYYYY TOO EASY. I can trade a 70 ovr player and a 3/4th for a 1st pretty easily.

    • Drafted QBs often fall to 2/3rd round. You never see only 1 QB get drafted in the 1st anymore in real life, yet madden thinks it's better to draft a TE at 1st overall, than to draft a QB.

    Help resigning QBs - Madden 20

    In a few different franchises with some friends. I start off great typically with a rookie or young QB at a low overall and develop them (we do a fantasy draft). Where I run into trouble is when it's time to resign that QB.

    Take my current situation. I need to put contracts together for Montez Sweat, Isaiah Simmons, and a few other defensive guys I've drafted or signed and developed. The issue is Sam Darnold. He wants 24M in salary and a 17M bonus (per year).

    Aside from changing him to an offensive lineman or cutting him to FA and resigning him, are there any tips or tricks to get him to resign to a more reasonable deal? I have the resign QB trait on. Anything helps! Don't know if messing with the bonus and whatnot might help.

    Gameplay settings: 7 minute quarters, all-madden, accel clock 15 seconds, Simulation gameplay setting

    - Injuries on with a low slider

    - Regular rosters, Sim time is still TBD (aiming for 2-3 day sims due to quarantine)

    - You get a choice of 2 additional X-factors as well as 2 legends (1 90 overall XF, 1 95 overall XF, both 20 years of age). You also get an age reduction

    -There will also be offseason upgrades as well as Superbowl setbacks (I will explain that to you when you join)

    - This league will be pretty competitive with a chill, non-toxic discord (there is a s**t talking channel though)

    - High schoolers and adults only (so ages 15 and up)

    Teams available:

    Jaguars

    Dolphins

    Patriots

    Falcons (Vick is unfortunately taken by the steelers)

    Washington team name TBD

    Titans

    Am I the only person who wants commentary names back in franchise?

    It's a small thing, but I always thought they were really cool playing other games; having commentary names. I know it's impossible to have every name in the world in the game, but I think it would be awesome to have them in Madden! (Also, I've been playing Madden 18 for the last few years, if they already added them back since then, feel free to delete this)
