    They've gotten so bad that you aren't even called a conspiracy theorist anymore when you talk about how horrible of a job everyone does at the company and how bad of a product they put out every year. I've never seen anything like it. A bunch of idiots in suits raking in paychecks and getting to claim they're accomplished while they lazily do nothing and release a shit product that's a copy and pasted version of a previously over glitchy shit product. It's enough to make you a cynic.

    The interesting career of Carson Goodman

    So way back when Madden 25 was brand new I did an 11 year franchise mode. I had 5 teams, Steelers, Raiders, Broncos, Saints and Colts. In my second season In round 2 of the draft, I drafted 74 ovr QB Carson Goodman to the Indianapolis Colts. From what I can remember he only played one game in his first of 10 seasons but in that one game he had 100% completions and a touchdown after only playing in the fourth when Andrew Luck had an injury. Anyway Steelers ended up facing the Panthers in the Superbowl that year so I got a trophy anyway.

    Carsons second season: This season I actually started writing stuff down about my teams so I have more to work with. After Lucks incredible performance to go 5-0 on the season he went down with an injury after being sacked in week 6 by Geno Atkins. Carson had to finish the game and the Colts won 24-21. After that game was a bye week, during the bye week I fired the colts trainer for a higher level, upgrading from a 5 or 6 level to a 12. This helped Carson get a 78 ovr by the wild card game. Unfortunately it was a huge loss 37-10 to The Raiders. The superbowl was Broncos vs The Panthers and The Broncos ended up winning and Peyton retired afterwards.

    Carsons 3rd season: In his third season Carson never played a game. The colts got some big free agents like Julio Jones and a one year center Elijah King. Denver somehow fell to a losing record after the superbowl win the year before while The Colts made it to the afc championship and lost. The superbowl was Steelers and Packers and I unfortunately didn't write the winner down and I forgot who won.

    Carsons 4th season: Carsons 4th and final season with the Colts was an interesting one. Chuck Pagano's contact expired and I forgot to renew it so we ended up with a horrible coach on a 1 year deal. In an injury ridden season with a horrible coach the colts squeaked into the wildcard game. Carson played the last two regular season games and the playoff games after another Andrew Luck injury. In the wildcard game The colts faced the Chiefs and won in OT with backup wide receivers and a backup qb of course. However they lost in the divisional game to Pittsburgh. That years superbowl was A Steelers vs Panthers rematch in which Pittsburgh won. Big Ben retired after and Pittsburgh needed a qb.

    Carsons 5th season: This season Carson had to join a new team if he was going to be an elite qb. After Brees, Big Ben and Brady retired in the same season there was a lot of room. I decided to try hard to get Goodman into Pittsburgh and after a bidding war with Jacksonville I did it. Julio Jones also left The Colts too, he went to The Browns. In other news it was a very good season for Pittsburgh as they only lost 3 games. Unfortunately they got punked buy the colts funnily enough. In the Afc championship game the Colts won 50-13 and then they won the superbowl against the Lions with their amazing defense they built in offseason.

    EA realizes that there is a large franchise playing community within their games. As we all know, they say they are taking strides to correct franchise for the next Madden iteration.

    With that being said, I'm not sure if this has already been suggested or if they have stated it's being implemented (I can't find it if so), or not being implemented, but I think it would be awesome to have a cooperative online franchise where you and up to two other friends could play on the same team, in franchise mode.

    This could be done as easily as what they have done with MUT, where you can play on the same team as either the HC, OC, or DC ….or can make it more immersive by adding your friends to the main screen of franchise (like a lobby) and give all players the ability to make team decisions at the same time (player and coaches hiring/firing, depth adjustments, etc) and when one person chooses play, it asks the others if they are ready - they say yes, and it takes them to a screen to choose their roles and get in the game. I know this would take a lot of doing on development side of things, but that would be an amazing improvement.

    I'd be happy with just the way they do cooperative MUT. I think they would please a lot of franchise players if they added the ability to play cooperatively, in some capacity, with friends.

    Side note - when NCAA games return, I DEFINITELY want this for dynasty mode. Please, please developers.

    AFC players don’t win awards in franchise

    Ever since they released the season recap menu that shows who won the Super Bowl, SBMVP, and yearly awards, it has only showed NFC players winning OPOTY, DPOTY, OROTY, and DROTY. This obviously won't be fixed since 22 is a month away but something this small is so easy to do right.

    How to sim a draft in franchise when it had already dtarted

    Does edge threat and edge threat elite stack?

    In my online league I got Cameron Jordan who has edge threat elite in his first slot but you have the option of adding edge threat to the second slot. Is this a bug and if so or not does it actually stack the 2 abilites or is it a waste of time? Also if not what other abilities are best to put on him in the second slot? I thought I could get el toro but for some reason it does not show up.
